Bloom's Revenue Doubles—Why Is Free Cash Flow Still Negative?

Bloom Energy fell 8.70% ahead of earnings and stayed under pressure despite revenue of $1.24B, up 138%, and non-GAAP EPS of $0.94 beating estimates. Management raised full-year revenue guidance to $4.4B–$4.6B and gross-margin guidance to 34.5%, but did not detail contracted orders or customer contributions. Bulls cite AI data center power demand; bears flag $181M in negative free cash flow and ongoing expansion costs. What would show margin gains are becoming sustainable cash generation?

[暗中观察]  Bloom Energy: Revenue Is Booming, but Cash Flow Must Catch Up $Bloom Energy Corp(BE)$ Bloom Energy just delivered the kind of earnings report that should make investors pay attention: Q3 2026 revenue surged 138.1% year over year to $1.236 billion, non-GAAP EPS reached $0.94, and management raised its full-year revenue guidance to $4.4–$4.6 billion. Yet the stock fell 8.70% ahead of earnings and remained under pressure afterward. The market is sending a clear message: beating earnings estimates is no longer enough when investors are questioning how much cash a company must burn to sustain its growth. 1. The bullish case: Bloom is selling a solution to an increasingly expensive problem. AI data centers need enormous a

Market draw down are days where you can add to your current positions or build up new stock postion or selling cash secured puts on stock that you might want to hold for long term. AI will business will still have energy bottleneck problem. So we might want to add to these postion slow DCA. Bloom energy is one of the biggest renewal energy supplier. I believe they will become a major player in next few decades.

$Bloom Energy Corp(BE)$ just jumped 8.27% — but the bigger story may be what happens AFTER the GPUs arrive. Everyone has been focused on chips, servers and data centres. But there is another bottleneck becoming increasingly difficult to ignore: ⚡ Power. Bloom Energy is positioning its fuel-cell technology as an onsite power solution for AI data centres, helping operators avoid some of the delays involved in connecting massive new facilities to the traditional grid. And the timing is interesting. Bloom recently unveiled an 800V DC-native power architecture designed around next-generation AI infrastructure. The company says its system can reduce non-compute capital costs for a 1GW AI data centre by $3.6 billion, although those figures are Bloom’s own

AI’s next bottleneck might not be chips. It might be getting the electricity there.

$Bloom Energy Corp(BE)$ jump caught my attention, but the more interesting story is happening underneath the price move. Data-centre developers increasingly need power faster than traditional grid connections can deliver it. That creates an opening for onsite generation — and that’s where Bloom’s fuel-cell technology comes in. Bloom is now pushing an 800V DC-native power architecture designed specifically around next-generation AI infrastructure. The company says its approach can reduce non-compute capital costs for a 1GW AI data centre by $3.6 billion, although that’s Bloom’s own analysis and actual economics will depend on the project. There are other signs that this is becoming a broader infrastructure theme. Morgan Stanley has estimated a pote
AI’s next bottleneck might not be chips. It might be getting the electricity there.
$Bloom Energy Corp(BE)$  Bloom Energy jumped 8.27% Friday — the AI power bottleneck is real AI data centers need electricity as badly as they need chips. The grid cannot keep up. That is why Bloom Energy is moving. The company builds solid-oxide fuel cells that sit on-site and deliver power in months, not years. Hyperscalers and developers are signing large deals because waiting for utility connections is no longer an option. Big contracts with Oracle (up to 2.8 GW) and an expanded Brookfield partnership show the demand is concrete. Revenue has been accelerating, and management keeps raising guidance. The stock has already run hard this year. That means the easy money is gone. The question now is whether the power shortage stays severe enough f
