This will help stable the pound. 2. Bank benefits as banks have been doing better with the interest rates being better. Reasons for fall: 1. Ongoing inflation, although I am hoping this has been quelled somewhat. 2. Volatility globally as the dust has not settled. 3. Prices continue upwards with consumers spending being smaller.
