chair says will keep focus on medium-term price stabilityMost analysts see the central bank tightening again FridaySingapore’s central bank is set to tighten monetary policy for a sixth time since October 2021 as it looks to stamp out a 14-year-high inflation even as the global economic growth outlook darkens. The Monetary Authority of Singapore, which uses the exchange rate rather than interest rates to stabilize prices, probably will signal on Friday that it’s seeking a stronger local dollar to curb imported inflation pressures, according to 12 of 22 analysts surveyed by Bloomberg. The other 10 see the MAS leaving its three policy settings unchanged. While projections for the first of the MAS’s twice-a-year decisions — in April and October — were divided, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, chairman of the central bank, provided an early signal of what’s to come. The monetary authority will continue to focus on ensuring medium-term price stability as the basis for sustained economic growth, he said in a statement late Wednesday. The majority of analysts surveyed also see the MAS tightening on Friday, but they were split on how that would be achieved:Eight analysts saw a steepening of the slopeFive predicted a re-centering upwardsNone of the survey respondents saw a change to the width of the bandAt the core of the debate is whether inflation or growth will weigh more on the MAS officials’ thinking right now, given core prices are still accelerating at the fastest pace since 2009. MAS Managing Director Ravi Menon said just last month that market expectations of an end to global tightening and the potential of a pivot to cuts anytime soon were “excessively optimistic.”At the same time, the trade-reliant city-state is beholden to global growth risks, which have bubbled up in recent weeks with the US- and European-led banking turmoil. The International Monetary Fund on Tuesday downgraded its outlook for global growth for the year to 2.8% from 2.9% in January, warning that even as the financial sector has settled from the bank failures in March, the impact might still be felt through tightened credit and a deeper downturn, if it materializes. Here’s what else to watch for in the MAS statement:Any further analysis of the state of the global banking system, where previously the MAS has said the city-state’s banking remained sound and resilientAny changes to inflation and GDP forecasts, with an early read of first-quarter GDP also released Friday morning. Officials have said inflation should moderate this year while remaining elevated and have estimated full-year economic expansion at 0.5%-2.5%How the MAS sees the policy outlook this year, and whether there are hints of further tightening that might be needed. Eight of 15 respondents to a Bloomberg survey question about forward guidance said the MAS will sound hawkish, with four predicting a balanced tone and three guessing it will be dovishAny hints that MAS officials are expecting they might have to hold another unscheduled decision. Survey respondents were nearly unanimous in thinking there won’t be more action before October’s scheduled meeting, when MAS likely will maintain policy","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"STI.SI":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":494,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9988363258,"gmtCreate":1666668587174,"gmtModify":1676537786985,"author":{"id":"3576721453278646","authorId":"3576721453278646","name":"patfhc11","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/594bdc70c8e6eaabf485aa8c471d9511","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576721453278646","authorIdStr":"3576721453278646"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"The new UK PM","listText":"The new UK PM","text":"The new UK PM","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9988363258","repostId":"1177646561","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1177646561","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1666666298,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1177646561?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-10-25 10:51","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Rishi Sunak: the $1.3b PM Who’s Richer Than the King","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1177646561","media":"washington post","summary":"Conservative MP Rishi Sunak leaves his office in London. Getty

Rishi Sunak is one of the wealthiest people in Britain and is now one of the country’s most powerful aftercapturing the prime ministership. For the first time in history, the residents of Downing Street are richer than those of Buckingham Palace.

Brits are used to being ruled by elites –Boris Johnson was about as eliteas they come – but Sunak is not just rich, he is super rich, which has prompted some to ask whether his vast fortune makes him too rich to be prime minister?

His backers, however, say it is precisely this background and the years spent making money that qualify him to lead a deeply damaged nation during these economically tumultuous times.

Sunak, a former banker, and his wife,Indian tech heiress Akshata Murty, have an estimated fortune of about £730 million ($1.3 billion), according to theSunday Times Rich List. On the 2022 list, the monarch was estimated to have about £370 million by comparison.

The couple’s money comes primarily from Murty’s stake in her father’s company, Infosys. She also owns start-up incubator Catamaran Ventures UK and has shares in a half dozen or so other companies. The couple have at least three homes in Britain, as well as a Santa Monica, California, property valued at around $US6 million.

According to theGuardian, the Sunak family – they have two daughters, Krishna and Anoushka – spend the week in their five-bedroom house in west London and weekends in North Yorkshire at a Georgian manor house. The paper said it has been “transformed into something of a wellness retreat with a £400,000 indoor swimming pool, gym, yoga studio, hot tub and tennis court”.

Tax avoidance scandal

Does any of that matter to voters?

“It’s not binary,” said Robert Ford, a professor of politics at the University of Manchester. “The British as a whole don’t think that being wealthy is a bad or disqualifying thing. There are lots of very wealthy individuals who are very popular with the public.

“People do care about wealthy people fixing the rules for themselves. It’s non-dom status for your wife while you are the chancellor, it’s green cards in the US in case things go south, it’s family tax numbers being massaged down.

“People are like, ‘well, I don’t mind so long as you pay your taxes, but it really annoys me if you don’t,’” he said.

Rishi Sunak and wife Akshata Murty (second and third from left) with then-Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Getty

Earlier this year, Akshata Murty was at the centre of a tax scandal after it emerged that she had been filing in the United Kingdom as a “non-domiciled” resident, whichallowed her to avoid paying British taxes on the substantial income she earned abroad.

Sunak, Murty and their family had been living at 10 Downing Street, in the apartment designated for Britain’s finance minister (the living quarters are smaller than 11 Downing Street, where prime minsters generally prefer to live). Moving vans arrived when the scandal was still simmering.

It also came out around the same time that Sunak had held a US green card while he was chancellor of the Exchequer, or finance minister. His spokesman said he returned it last year.

Sunak’s critics have sought to play up his privileged upbringing. They point out that he attended the 600-year-old Winchester College, where annual fees for those who board, like he did, today exceed £46,000.

In the last leadership election this summer, they circulated a video clip from a BBC documentary in which he suggestshe doesn’t have any “working-class friends”.

He was also attacked for giving a speech to grassroots Conservative Party members this summer where he said that, as chancellor, he tried to reverse funding formulas “that shoved all the funding into deprived urban areas” so as to help wealthier towns.

During these troubled times of high energy prices and runaway inflation, however, Sunak’s supporters counter that his background – not his wealth, but his own experience in finance and at the treasury – make him the right man for the job right now.

‘Fantasy economics’

Before becoming a lawmaker – only seven years ago, a rapid ascent in British political terms – Sunak worked as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs and as a hedge fund manager. He most recently served in government as chancellor, where he became hugely popular as hedished money out during the pandemic.

He has consistently polled better than any of his contenders in this leadership race on economic competence. In the last race against Liz Truss, Sunak said that Truss’ plans were based on “fantasy” economics – a pronouncement that proved prescient when her “mini-budget”caused widespread turmoil in the markets.

Jeremy Hunt, the current British chancellor who will behoping to keep his job, has come out in support of Sunak. Writing in theDaily Telegraph, he said the British people were looking for someone who could handle the current crisis.

“Our public finances, market credibility and international reputation have taken a serious blow. GettyRishi Sunak is one of the wealthiest people in Britain and is now one of the country’s most powerful aftercapturing the prime ministership. For the first time in history, the residents of Downing Street are richer than those of Buckingham Palace.Brits are used to being ruled by elites –Boris Johnson was about as eliteas they come – but Sunak is not just rich, he is super rich, which has prompted some to ask whether his vast fortune makes him too rich to be prime minister? His backers, however, say it is precisely this background and the years spent making money that qualify him to lead a deeply damaged nation during these economically tumultuous times.Sunak, a former banker, and his wife,Indian tech heiress Akshata Murty, have an estimated fortune of about £730 million ($1.3 billion), according to theSunday Times Rich List. On the 2022 list, the monarch was estimated to have about £370 million by comparison. The couple’s money comes primarily from Murty’s stake in her father’s company, Infosys. She also owns start-up incubator Catamaran Ventures UK and has shares in a half dozen or so other companies. The couple have at least three homes in Britain, as well as a Santa Monica, California, property valued at around $US6 million.According to theGuardian, the Sunak family – they have two daughters, Krishna and Anoushka – spend the week in their five-bedroom house in west London and weekends in North Yorkshire at a Georgian manor house. The paper said it has been “transformed into something of a wellness retreat with a £400,000 indoor swimming pool, gym, yoga studio, hot tub and tennis court”.Tax avoidance scandalDoes any of that matter to voters?“It’s not binary,” said Robert Ford, a professor of politics at the University of Manchester. “The British as a whole don’t think that being wealthy is a bad or disqualifying thing. There are lots of very wealthy individuals who are very popular with the public.“People do care about wealthy people fixing the rules for themselves. It’s non-dom status for your wife while you are the chancellor, it’s green cards in the US in case things go south, it’s family tax numbers being massaged down.“People are like, ‘well, I don’t mind so long as you pay your taxes, but it really annoys me if you don’t,’” he said.Rishi Sunak and wife Akshata Murty (second and third from left) with then-Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. GettyEarlier this year, Akshata Murty was at the centre of a tax scandal after it emerged that she had been filing in the United Kingdom as a “non-domiciled” resident, whichallowed her to avoid paying British taxes on the substantial income she earned abroad.Sunak, Murty and their family had been living at 10 Downing Street, in the apartment designated for Britain’s finance minister (the living quarters are smaller than 11 Downing Street, where prime minsters generally prefer to live). Moving vans arrived when the scandal was still simmering. It also came out around the same time that Sunak had held a US green card while he was chancellor of the Exchequer, or finance minister. His spokesman said he returned it last year.Sunak’s critics have sought to play up his privileged upbringing. They point out that he attended the 600-year-old Winchester College, where annual fees for those who board, like he did, today exceed £46,000.In the last leadership election this summer, they circulated a video clip from a BBC documentary in which he suggestshe doesn’t have any “working-class friends”.He was also attacked for giving a speech to grassroots Conservative Party members this summer where he said that, as chancellor, he tried to reverse funding formulas “that shoved all the funding into deprived urban areas” so as to help wealthier towns.During these troubled times of high energy prices and runaway inflation, however, Sunak’s supporters counter that his background – not his wealth, but his own experience in finance and at the treasury – make him the right man for the job right now.‘Fantasy economics’Before becoming a lawmaker – only seven years ago, a rapid ascent in British political terms – Sunak worked as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs and as a hedge fund manager. He most recently served in government as chancellor, where he became hugely popular as hedished money out during the pandemic. He has consistently polled better than any of his contenders in this leadership race on economic competence. In the last race against Liz Truss, Sunak said that Truss’ plans were based on “fantasy” economics – a pronouncement that proved prescient when her “mini-budget”caused widespread turmoil in the markets.Jeremy Hunt, the current British chancellor who will behoping to keep his job, has come out in support of Sunak. Writing in theDaily Telegraph, he said the British people were looking for someone who could handle the current crisis.“Our public finances, market credibility and international reputation have taken a serious blow. To restore stability and confidence, we need a leader who can be trusted to make difficult choices,” he wrote.“We also need someone who can explain those choices to members of the public who are worried about jobs, mortgages and public services. We have a leader who can do just that in Rishi Sunak.”The matter of his wealth, however, could still be a vulnerability long after the current contest ends.Steven Fielding, a politics professor at the University of Nottingham, said that if Sunak does emerge victorious, the opposition Labour Party will likely try to score points on Sunak for being “out of touch,” like they did earlier in the year, when in a discussion about rising prices for foodstuffs, he described all the “different breads in my house.”And given the economic headwinds, the cost of living crisis is expected to get a lot worse for millions of Brits, who are already feeling the squeeze.Fielding also said that Truss’ disastrous economic policy, which saw the market swiftly reject her plans for unfunded tax cuts, meant that the next leader’s policies will “basically be a prisoner of Liz Truss and the consequences of Liz Truss”.“Whoever becomes leader, they have two years where their economic program is already decided. It’s going to be pretty bad for the British public,” he added, noting that it will mostly be damage control and balancing between taxes and spending.“It’s still different colours of bad,” he said.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":503,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9910490844,"gmtCreate":1663655374988,"gmtModify":1676537309844,"author":{"id":"3576721453278646","authorId":"3576721453278646","name":"patfhc11","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/594bdc70c8e6eaabf485aa8c471d9511","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576721453278646","authorIdStr":"3576721453278646"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","listText":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","text":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9910490844","repostId":"1184809965","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1184809965","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1663653149,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1184809965?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-09-20 13:52","market":"us","language":"en","title":"87% of Warren Buffett's Secret Portfolio Is Invested in These 5 Stocks","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1184809965","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"KEY POINTSSince becoming CEO in 1965, Warren Buffett has led his company's Class A shares to a great","content":"
\n
KEY POINTSSince becoming CEO in 1965, Warren Buffett has led his company's Class A shares to a greater-than-3,600,000% return.Due to an acquisition 24 years ago, Buffett's company owns a specialty ...
\n\nSource Link\n\n
\n","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; Over the past 57 years, the Oracle of Omaha, as Buffett is now known, has delivered an average annual return of 20.1%for his company's Class A shares (BRK.A). In aggregate, we're talking about a gain of better than 3,600,000%, which compares to a 30,209% increase, including dividends paid, for the S&P 500 over the same period.Because of Warren Buffett's incredible track record, it's not uncommon for investors to ride his coattails. Thankfully, because Berkshire Hathaway is required to file Form 13F with the Securities and Exchange Commission every quarter, this is pretty easy to do. A 13F is effectively a portfolio snapshot that allows investors to see what the brightest minds on Wall Street were buying, selling, and holding in the most recent quarter. However, Berkshire Hathaway's 13Fdoesn't tell the full story. Due to an acquisition in 1998 of reinsurance company General Re, Buffett's company owns a specialty investment firm known as New England Asset Management (NEAM). Although Buffett isn't involved in NEAM's investment portfolio, the securities NEAM buys are, ultimately, owned by Buffett's company. When the June-ended quarter came to a close, 87% of Warren Buffett's more-than-$5.9 billion \"secret portfolio\" was invested in just five stocks.Apple: 47.24% of invested assetsPerhaps it's no surprise that New England Asset Management's largest holding by invested assets happens to be the stock that's Berkshire Hathaway's largest holding by a long shot: tech leader Apple. Apple accounted for roughly $2.8 billion of NEAM's $5.92 billion in assets under management, as of June 30, 2022.What's made Apple such an incredible investment for so long? Both its innovation and its capital return program.Innovation has helped Apple become the most-valuable brand in the world, according to a report by Kantar BrandZ. The continuing evolution of Apple's iPhone has fueled a loyal customer base and driven sales and profits to record heights. However, Apple's future isall about promoting subscription services. CEO Tim Cook is presiding over this multiyear transition that will see Apple become more of a platform company. Doing so should boost its operating margins over time, and reduce the sales lumpiness often associated with product replacement cycles. As for capital returns, Apple has one of the largest nominal dividend payouts on the planet, and has repurchased approximately $520 billion worth of its own common stock since the beginning of 2013. In other words, there's a very good reason Apple is the largest publicly traded company by market cap in the U.S.U.S. Bancorp: 13.76% of invested assetsWarren Buffett is a big fan of bank stocks, and apparently so is the investment team that's overseeing Warren Buffett's secret portfolio. Regional bankU.S. Bancorp, the parent of the more-familiar U.S. Bank, accounted for close to 13.8% of invested assets at the end of June and has been a continuous holding in NEAM's portfolio for more than two decades. The foundation for U.S. Bancorp's rock-solid operating performance is financial discipline. While most of its peers were making riskier derivative investments prior to the Great Recession, U.S. Bancorp has predominantly stuck to what I call the \"bread and butter\" of banking: growing its loans and deposits. This may not generate jaw-dropping sales and profit growth, but it does ensure some of the highest return on assets among large banks.Additionally, U.S. Bancorp has done a phenomenal job of encouraging its customers to bank online or via mobile app. As of May 31, 82% of its active customers were banking digitally, with 64% of total loan sales being completed online or via mobile app. The latter is up from just 45% at the beginning of 2020.Digital transactions are substantially cheaper for banks than in-person or phone-based interactions. As a result, U.S. Bancorp has been able to lower its noninterest expenses by consolidating some of its physical branches.Bank of America: 11.96% of invested assetsYet another huge Berkshire Hathaway holding that also makes up a sizable percentage of Warren Buffett's secret portfolio is Bank of America. Whereas NEAM holds close to 22.8 million shares of BofA, Berkshire Hathaway has north of 1 billion in its portfolio. What makes a money-center giant like Bank of America such an attractive investment is simply time. Even though recessions are an inevitable part of the economic cycle, periods of expansion last considerably longer. Being patient and allowing the U.S. economy to grow over time is what allows a company like BofA to increase its loan portfolio and net interest income.Another reason Bank of America looks like a stellar investment is its interest-rate sensitivity. With the Federal Reserve having no choice but to aggressively raise interest rates to rein in historically high inflation, Bank of America is set to generate billions of dollars in added net interest income on its outstanding variable-rate loans without having to lift a finger. And don't overlook the capital return potential of bank stocks, either. When the U.S. economy is humming along, it's not uncommon for a giant like BofA to return in excess of $25 billion, annually, to shareholders via share buybacks and dividends.HP: 9.12% of invested assetsWarren Buffett's secret portfolio loves a good value stock. That's exactly what NEAM is getting with personal-computing and printing solutions company HP, at a valuation of less than 7 times Wall Street's forward-year forecast earnings. The answer to \"Why HP?\" can be boiled down to three catalysts. First, PC and printing solution sales tend to be highly predictable, even during periods of economic weakness. This is a mature industry that produces plenty of cash flow -- and Wall Street does love companies that are predictable.Secondly, New England Asset Management's investment team is probably just as enamored as Warren Buffett has been with HP's capital return program. The company increased its base annual payout by 29% in 2021, and has been aggressively repurchasing its common stock. For companies with steady or rising net income, a shrinking outstanding share count can boost earnings per share and make a stock appear more fundamentally attractive to investors.Thirdly, at less than 7 times forecast earnings for the upcoming year, HP's shares probably have a safe floor built in. Even if the company has few near-term upside catalysts, there's probably not a lot of additional downside, either.Chevron: 5.26% of invested assetsRounding out the top five holdings in Warren Buffett's secret portfolio is oil stock Chevron. During the second quarter, HP and Chevron wereNew England Asset Management's two biggest buys. One of the reasons Chevron is such a successful energy stock is its integrated structure. Though it generates its juiciest operating margins from its upstream drilling operations, Chevron also owns midstream (transmission pipelines) and downstream (chemical plants and refineries) assets. Midstream assets typically rely on fixed-fee or volume-based contracts that produce very predictable cash flow. Meanwhile, chemical plants and refineries benefit from lower input costs when the price of crude oil falls. In other words, Chevron is well hedged no matter what happens to the prices of oil and natural gas. However, the next couple of years bode well for oil stocks. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, global energy majors have purposely pared back their capital investments. That and Russia's invasion of Ukraine make it clear that increasing global oil production is going to be a lengthy and arduous process. That's good news for drilling companies that are counting on a sustainably higher price for crude oil.To keep with the theme of this list, \"big oil\" companies like Chevron are also well-known for their bountiful capital return programs. In the wake of historically high oil and natural gas prices, Chevron has pledged to repurchase up to $10 billion worth of its common stock this year, and it pays out one of the largest nominal dividends. Having what's arguably the best balance sheet among integrated oil companies affords Chevron the freedom to reward its long-term investors.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AAPL":0.9,"HPQ":0.9,"BAC":0.9,"USB":0.9,"CVX":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":359,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9056869414,"gmtCreate":1654996431738,"gmtModify":1676535543990,"author":{"id":"3576721453278646","authorId":"3576721453278646","name":"patfhc11","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/594bdc70c8e6eaabf485aa8c471d9511","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576721453278646","authorIdStr":"3576721453278646"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"That's cool!","listText":"That's cool!","text":"That's cool!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9056869414","repostId":"2242669765","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2242669765","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1655005649,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2242669765?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-06-12 11:47","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 Unstoppable Growth Stocks to Buy in the Stock Market Sell-Off","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2242669765","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"These three stocks have revenue and cash flows moving higher while stock prices are moving lower.","content":"
\n
Growth stocks are falling out of favor with investors in 2022. Interest rates are rising quickly, a trend that makes the present value of future cash flows worth less.Despite how the market feels about growth stocks, Apple, Roblox, and Airbnb are operating excellent businesses that seem unstoppable. Their stocks are already trading at discounts after the sell-off. Investors should consider adding these three growth stocks if the market crash gains further momentum. Here's why.Apple has decades of proven innovationApple's business is centered around a unique capability to deliver innovative consumer technology products that drive billions in sales -- starting with the Mac computer, iPod, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, and more. What's important for investors is that it has repeatedly proven that it can innovate. That makes it likely it can sustain robust revenue and profitability for the long term.AAPL PE Ratio data by YChartsFrom 2019 to 2021, Apple's sales bounced from $260 billion to $366 billion while growing earnings per share from $2.97 to $5.61. Apple is trading at a price-to-earnings ratio of 22 and a price-to-free-cash-flow (P/FCF) multiple of 21.Roblox is a pioneer of the metaverseRoblox operates a platform where players can virtually interact with each other and the environment -- in other words, a metaverse. It has grown to boast 53.1 million monthly active users as of April, a 23% increase over the prior year. It's free to join and use, for the most part. Roblox makes money by selling Robux, an in-game currency required for premium items.RBLX Cash from Operations (Annual) data by YChartsRoblox has chosen to outsource those creations, a business model that has helped it deliver robust cash flows for the last two years. Roblox thrived at the pandemic's onset, when millions of kids -- its most popular cohort -- were spending more time at home. Economic reopening is creating headwinds for Roblox, which, in addition to the growth stock sell-off, has caused its stock to crater. Selling at a P/FCF multiple of 31, it's nearly the cheapest it's ever been.Airbnb offers travelers more optionsLike Roblox, Airbnb runs an asset-light business model that has been helpful to its ability to generate free cash flow. Instead of building, owning, and operating the listings on its platform, Airbnb induces others to list rentals. Airbnb takes a percentage of the booking value of each transaction on its website.Additionally, by letting hosts list properties on the platform, Airbnb sources a unique set of properties unavailable from traditional hotels. This means that on Airbnb, travelers can book a room inside an apartment or an entire home, depending on their needs for the particular stay. Revenue exploded by 77% for Airbnb in 2021, highlighting that it is gaining favor with travelers.ABNB Cash from Operations (Annual) data by YChartsAlso like Roblox, Airbnb is trading near its lowest P/FCF multiple at 25.Robust growth at an excellent priceEach of the three stocks mentioned above has delivered excellent growth, indicating continued expansion in future years. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on your perspective as a shareholder or potential investor, the growth stock sell-off has these businesses trading at substantial discounts to where they were only months ago. They could become even better values if a further crash pushes prices still lower. Investors should put Apple, Roblox, and Airbnb on their watch lists and consider adding them to their portfolios in the event of a continued market slide.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AAPL":0.9,"ABNB":0.9,"RBLX":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":497,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9056869666,"gmtCreate":1654996420655,"gmtModify":1676535543982,"author":{"id":"3576721453278646","authorId":"3576721453278646","name":"patfhc11","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/594bdc70c8e6eaabf485aa8c471d9511","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576721453278646","authorIdStr":"3576721453278646"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","listText":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","text":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9056869666","repostId":"2242669765","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2242669765","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1655005649,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2242669765?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-06-12 11:47","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 Unstoppable Growth Stocks to Buy in the Stock Market Sell-Off","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2242669765","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"These three stocks have revenue and cash flows moving higher while stock prices are moving lower.","content":"
Investors should put Apple, Roblox, and Airbnb on their watch lists and consider adding them to their portfolios in the event of a continued market slide.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AAPL":0.9,"ABNB":0.9,"RBLX":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":497,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":121175588,"gmtCreate":1624457701844,"gmtModify":1703837352664,"author":{"id":"3576721453278646","authorId":"3576721453278646","name":"patfhc11","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/594bdc70c8e6eaabf485aa8c471d9511","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3576721453278646","idStr":"3576721453278646"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"<a chair says will keep focus on medium-term price stabilityMost analysts see the central bank tightening again FridaySingapore’s central bank is set to tighten monetary policy for a sixth time since October 2021 as it looks to stamp out a 14-year-high inflation even as the global economic growth outlook darkens. Survey respondents were nearly unanimous in thinking there won’t be more action before October’s scheduled meeting, when MAS likely will maintain policy","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"STI.SI":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":494,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9988363258,"gmtCreate":1666668587174,"gmtModify":1676537786985,"author":{"id":"3576721453278646","authorId":"3576721453278646","name":"patfhc11","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/594bdc70c8e6eaabf485aa8c471d9511","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3576721453278646","idStr":"3576721453278646"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"The new UK PM","listText":"The new UK PM","text":"The new UK PM","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9988363258","repostId":"1177646561","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1177646561","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1666666298,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1177646561?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-10-25 10:51","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Rishi Sunak: the $1.3b PM Who’s Richer Than the King","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1177646561","media":"washington post","summary":"Conservative MP Rishi Sunak leaves his office in London. Over the past 57 years, the Oracle of Omaha, as Buffett is now known, has delivered an average annual return of 20.1%for his company's Class A shares (BRK.A). Having what's arguably the best balance sheet among integrated oil companies affords Chevron the freedom to reward its long-term investors.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AAPL":0.9,"HPQ":0.9,"BAC":0.9,"USB":0.9,"CVX":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":359,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9056869666,"gmtCreate":1654996420655,"gmtModify":1676535543982,"author":{"id":"3576721453278646","authorId":"3576721453278646","name":"patfhc11","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/594bdc70c8e6eaabf485aa8c471d9511","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3576721453278646","idStr":"3576721453278646"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","listText":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","text":"Great ariticle, would you like to share it?","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9056869666","repostId":"2242669765","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2242669765","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1655005649,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2242669765?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-06-12 11:47","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 Unstoppable Growth Stocks to Buy in the Stock Market Sell-Off","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2242669765","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"These three stocks have revenue and cash flows moving higher while stock prices are moving lower.","content":"
