McDonald's international exposure in fiscal year 2021 (total percent of units outside of the U.S.), was 66%, only to be outdone by Yum! Brands, 67%, and Domino's Pizza, 70%. Particularly for McDonald's, analysts at Goldman are keeping an eye out for Japan, where the average third-quarter FX/USD rate is down 20% year-over-year, compared to Europe and the U.K., both down 14%. Year-to-date shares of McDonald's are down 4.2%.

$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ up roughly 9.3%. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 index, Nasdaq Composite, and Dow Jones Industrial Average ended the day's session up approximately 5.5%, 7.4%, and 3.7%, respectively. Palantir (PLTR 9.46%) reported third-quarter earnings results that displeased investors. The company's revenue growth is slowing as businesses reduce expenses. Palantir to generate about $1.4 billion in revenue in the first three quarters of 2022. This is a 26% increase compared to the same period in 2021. Free cash flow of $127 million over the first nine months of 2022, falling from $320 million in the same period one year ago.

Nio (NIO) stock crashed Thursday morning, sinking 6.5% lower as of 11:25 a.m. ET. The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer is upping up its battery swap game and even setting up a battery manufacturing business. Yet the overhang from China -- also Nio's largest and domestic market -- is weighing on its shares.

$BlackSky Technology Inc.(BKSY)$  ceiling value of the five-year Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity contract with the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency for economic indicator monitoring was increased from $30 million to $60 million. BlackSky has won a combined total of $14 million of orders within just the first year of this five-year contract.

$NIO Inc.(NIO)$ grew its deliveries by 29% and revenue by almost 33% year over year in the third quarter. More notably, Nio's outlook for the fourth quarter was a big surprise -- it expects to deliver 43,000 to 48,000 vehicles in Q4. Nio plans to deliver nearly 33,000 to 38,000 cars between November and December. Nio's production slowed down in the last quarter, but it still sees a big jump in car deliveries ahead.
