OpenAI Earns About $50 Billion A Year. It Has Promised Oracle More Than $300 Billion

$Oracle(ORCL)$   Mathematical Money | October 11, 2026 $ORCL$ fell 5.5% on Wednesday and then took 4.2% of it back on Thursday, finishing the week down about half a percent. If you only looked at Friday's close you'd think nothing happened. Something did happen, and it wasn't really about the number everyone reported. The reaction was pointing at a genuine problem and aiming at the wrong figure entirely. What the news actually said The Financial Times reported that OpenAI told investors its annualised revenue was approaching $50 billion at the end of September, against a $70 billion figure that had been circulating. A $20 billion gap, roughly 30% of the headline. Here's the part that got lost in the reaction. That gap wasn't lost busines

Haha. Self praise. But ok, there's always two sides of it, some truth and some blown up.

I Collected 49 Cents To Buy MARA At $12. On Friday It Closed At $9.65

$MARA Holdings(MARA)$   Mathematical Money | October 11, 2026 $MARA$ closed Friday at $9.65, down 14.1% on the week from $11.23 and through $10 for the first time this cycle. It was an ugly five sessions for a stock that had already had a few of those. I'd been short puts into that expiry at the $12 and $11.50 strikes, sold on 18 September for 49 cents and 53 cents a contract. Both finished in the money on Friday, so the shares were assigned to me. I said in advance that I'd report which way it went, so here it is, with the arithmetic done per share because that's the only way to see it clearly. What it actually cost The premium reduces what I paid. On the $12 strike my effective purchase price is $11.51, and on the $11.50 strike it's $1

$MARA 20261030 11.5 CALL$ One of the fastest drawdown i ever had. 13 days of down in one counter adding up to more than 30% drop in the stock price.  Most of the short calls are below my stock average price now but just purely for extracting premium (income). Cant do much, not gonna act like I could predict where the market wants this to go. Can only manage the situation.
$WDC 20261016 405.0 CALL$ Status update of this short term position: Short call at 415 - full profit  of $5 Shares bought at 404 - lost $7 Short put at $400 - assigned. Overall profit $2 deducting away losses in stock Overall gain: waste of time. Lol. Anyway, since now I have 200 shares. I have a covered call against it. Trying to collect more premium in the next one week.
$MARA 20261030 11.0 CALL$ Sell covered call again.
$IBIT 20261023 47.0 PUT$ Was supposed to be a pair with the ibit short. Closed that earlier and was anticipating a bigger move tonight. It seems muted tonight. Will close this position since the pairing is not around anymore.
$COIN 20261030 160.0 PUT$ Cash secured put. Putting a longer duration sell put on it, but placing strike at the lowest point of the "boring" zone.  Refer to earlier post on the different levels I'm looking at for COIN. Will probably do an update again next week.
$MARA 20261030 11.5 CALL$ Selling even more covered calls
$BMNR DIAGONAL 261120/261016 CALL 30.0/CALL 28.0$ Short call almost worthless with 1 week left. Rolling out to a higher strike price hoping to capture more stock gains. Bullish on bmnr and eth for the next 1-2 years. Though the speech from Tom Lee saying they will stop at hard cap of 5% of eth, the bullish momentum will not stop just because he stops buying. End of the day, it will be more important that BMNR manages the treasury of eth properly and maximising shareholder value.
$MARA 20261106 11.5 CALL$ Even more painful than yesterday. Still, sold some covered calls. Sticking to the plan.
$COIN 20261009 172.5 PUT$ The stock climbed too fast. Dont think I can catch it tonight. Close for a small profit
$ORCL DIAGONAL 261023/261106 CALL 195.0/CALL 180.0$ Rolling the short calls down. Current ones are almost worthless. Trying to squeeze some theta decay from it. Not the best because I cap the up side much more than before.
$COIN 20261009 172.5 PUT$ Selling 2 cash secured put. Increasing position size on coinbase
$iShares Bitcoin Trust(IBIT)$ Buying back ibit short leg. Keeping the sell put on.

The Board Is Pricing ±8.9% On Netflix Earnings. The Downside Break-Even Sits Below The 52-Week Low

$Netflix(NFLX)$   Mathematical Money | October 9, 2026 $NFLX$ closed Thursday at $71.57. That's down 23.7% this year, 42.3% below the 52-week high of $124.14, and only 6.7% above a 52-week low of $67.06 that was set on 2 October. Seven days ago. Netflix reports third-quarter results after the close on Tuesday 20 October. I own long-dated calls on it and I had a decision to make before then, so I did what I always do before an event and wrote the number down first. What the options board is actually pricing I captured this on Friday morning, before the event rather than after it. The 23 October expiry, which is the first one that contains the earnings date, has an at-the-money strike of $72. The call was $3.05 at the midpoint and the put
