best tech stocks to buy all feature low risk and deep discounts.Nvidia(NVDA): Shares appear significantly undervalued following a steep sell-off.Adobe(ADBE): Its income-statement performance is impressive.Intel(INTC): Shares look compelling at this deeply discounted price.Taiwan Semiconductor(TSM): It’s a profit-generating machine.Applied Materials(AMAT): Its returns on equity and assets are among the best in the chip industry.Lam Research(LRCX): Its ROE and ROA are even better than those of Applied Materials.NXP Semiconductors(NXPI): It’s perhaps the riskiest of the bunch but may offer greater rewards.Tech stocks have suffered disproportionately in the current bear market, as they tend to do in every bear market. But the bullish long-term bias of the market tells us that stocks will almost certainly resume their uptrend. When they do, nearly all tech stocks should bounce to some extent, but the best tech stocks could soar.Historically, the broader market tends to perform well during the November-to-April timespan. Of course, this is no guarantee for success. Still, it adds a powerful backdrop for those looking to put capital to work in one of the more speculative sectors of the market. In searching for the best tech stocks to buy, we’re sticking with financial data. Leveraging the analytical tools ofGuruFocus.com, the below equities all feature fundamentally low risk and discounted prices. Here are the best tech stocks to buy in November.Nvidia (NVDA)A multinational technology firm, Nvidia(NASDAQ:NVDA) primarily garnered attention through its specialty in graphics processing units. However, the company also made significant investments in deep learning and protocols involving artificial intelligence. Currently, the company commands a market capitalization of $345 billion. On a year-to-date basis, NVDA is down 53%.Despite the steep losses, contrarian investors should consider gradually picking up shares.GuruFocus utilizes proprietary calculations to determine that NVDA stock is significantly undervalued. Based on more traditional metrics, Nvidia features excellent income-statement performance figures. For instance, the company’s three-year revenue growth rate stands at 31.3%. Its book growth rate during the aforementioned period hit 40.2%. Both stats rank at least near the 90th percentile for the industry. On the bottom line, Nvidia carries a net margin of 26%. This ranks above 87% of the competition. To top it off, NVDA is tethered to a strong balance sheet. Mainly, its Altman Z-Score is a lofty 12 points, reflecting extremely low bankruptcy risk. Thus, NVDA easily ranks among the best tech stocks to buy in November.Adobe (ADBE)Adobe(NASDAQ:ADBE) is a software company that mainly aligns with creatives. Historically, it’s known for the creation and publication of a wide range of content, including graphics, photography, illustration, animation, multimedia/video, motion pictures and print. Currently, Adobe carries a market cap of $151 billion after slipping 43% year to date.Again, based onGuruFocus’proprietary metrics, Adobe rates as significantly undervalued. One traditional metric regarding valuation to consider is its price-earnings-growth ratio of 1.09. This rates favorably below the industry median of 1.4 times. However, Adobe draws the most attention for its income statement-related performance. For example, the company’s three-year revenue growth rate and free cash flow growth rate stand at 21.9% and 23.7%, respectively. Both figures rank conspicuously above sector averages. On the bottom line, Adobe carries a net margin of 28%, well above the industry median of 1.9%. Throw in a stable balance sheet and you have another solid candidate for best tech stocks to buy in November.Intel (INTC)One of the powerhouses in the semiconductor industry, Intel(NASDAQ:INTC) represents the world’s second-largest semiconductor chip manufacturer by revenue. Per its corporate profile, it’s also one of the developers of the x86 series of instruction sets, the instruction sets found in most personal computers. Presently, INTC commands a market cap of $119 billion and is down 44% for the year.Despite sharp losses, INTC is among the best tech stocks to buy in November. Notably, INTC is significantly undervalued based on traditional metrics. Its forward P/E ratio is 10.1, below the industry median of 13.7. Also, its Shiller P/E ratio is 7.6, below the sector median of nearly 24.On the income statement, Intel features an overall solid profile. Its three-year book growth rate stands at 12.4%, above 61.5% of the competition. For net margin, it hit 26%, better than 87% of its peers.Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM)A multinational semiconductor firm, Taiwan Semiconductor (NYSE:TSM) represents the world’s most valuable semiconductor company, the world’s largest dedicated independent semiconductor foundry, and one of Taiwan’s largest companies, per its public profile. Presently, TSM commands a market cap of nearly $322 billion and is down 48% year to date.Despite the severe erosion of equity value, TSM ranks among the best tech stocks to buy in November for contrarians. PerGuruFocus, TSM is significantly undervalued. The company’s forward P/E ratio is 10.9 is below the industry median of 13.7. Also, its price-to-owner earnings ratio is 10.5, below the industry median of 16.1.Primarily, though, TSM is all about its profitability machine. Gross, operating and net margins hit 55%, 44.7% and 40.6% respectively. Each of these metrics was well above sector median levels. As well, TSM enjoys solid growth figures, with its three-year revenue growth rate coming in at 15.5%. This ranks above 68.5% of the competition.Applied Materials (AMAT)Applied Materials(NASDAQ:AMAT) represents the leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce virtually every new chip and advanced display in the world, per its website. Currently, Applied Materials features a market cap of $77 billion, and the stock is down 43% year to date.PerGuruFocus, AMAT stock is significantly undervalued. A notable standout in terms of traditional metrics is its PEG ratio of 0.56. This ranks favorably below the industry median of 0.75.Primarily, though, Applied Materials will likely draw attention as one of the best tech stocks to buy in November because of its high-quality business. Specifically, the company’s return on equity and return on assets hit 55.5% and 26.1%, respectively. Both stats rank among the upper echelons of the semiconductor industry. To top it off, AMAT features a stable balance sheet. Most prominently, its Altman Z-Score of 7.5 implies low bankruptcy risk.Lam Research (LRCX)Lam Research(NASDAQ:LRCX) is an American supplier of wafer fabrication equipment and related services to the semiconductor industry. Currently, the company carries a market cap of slightly over $55 billion after falling 44% year to date. The stock’s average daily volume is approximately 1.9 million shares.Fundamentally, the case for LRCX as one of the top tech stocks to buy in November is two-fold. First, Lam represents a high-quality business. Its return on equity is a blistering 75.8%. That’s above 99% of the semiconductor industry. As well, the company’s return on assets hit 28.6%, ranking above 97% of its peers.Second, Lam enjoys outstanding sales-related performance. For example, its three-year revenue growth rate is 26.6%, better than 84% of the competition. As well, the company’s book growth rate during the same period is 11.9%, better than nearly 60% of its rivals.NXP Semiconductors (NXPI)Netherlands-based NXP Semiconductors(NASDAQ:NXPI) is a semiconductor designer and manufacturer. After falling 33% this year, it has a market cap of roughly $40 billion. Average trading volume is around 2.1 million shares a day.Interestingly, the YTD performance makes NXP one of the better-performing semiconductor firms. However, that’s not the reason why it’s on this list of best tech stocks to buy in November. Fundamentally, the stock is significantly undervalued based on proprietary calculations. And its forward P/E ratio of 10.6 is below the industry median of 13.7 times. The company enjoys substantive profitability margins, including an operating margin of 27%, which ranks above 84% of its peers. It’s also a high-quality business with a return on equity of nearly 36%.About the one glaring risk factor is balance sheet stability. Its Altman Z-Score pings at 2.4, which is in a gray zone. However, the higher-risk profile could lead to potentially greater gains.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"INTC":0.9,"LRCX":0.9,"AMAT":0.9,"NVDA":0.9,"TSM":0.9,"NXPI":0.9,"ADBE":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2730,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9982657687,"gmtCreate":1667177861050,"gmtModify":1676537871019,"author":{"id":"4087949413245130","authorId":"4087949413245130","name":"HoSeyLiao48","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8a9a7795aa16cbb122ca86630c428a3a","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4087949413245130","authorIdStr":"4087949413245130"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Applaud] [Applaud] ","listText":"[Applaud] [Applaud] ","text":"[Applaud] [Applaud]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9982657687","repostId":"9982189866","repostType":1,"repost":{"id":9982189866,"gmtCreate":1667114565655,"gmtModify":1676537863293,"author":{"id":"3559581955535845","authorId":"3559581955535845","name":"koolgal","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c05274d88ffc0434623e57350c52c70a","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3559581955535845","authorIdStr":"3559581955535845"},"themes":[],"title":"🌟🌟🌟It's Halloween Time - Trick or Treat🌟🌟🌟","htmlText":"🎃🎃🎃It is Spooky Halloween 🎃🎃🎃 Trick or Treat? As seen in Table 1, all iPhone events since the iPhone 4S in 2011 were introduced later than the Sept. 7, 2022, date of the iPhone 14 event.

Apple

This suggests that Apple’s supply chain is under control and can deliver on time. In previous years, several iPhones were introduced later than planned, primarily due to supply chain issues. The iPhone 12 was delayed because of 5G parts shortages.

Last year's iPhone 13 production ultimately fell 20% short of the initial plan in September and October. The root cause of delays revolved around the need for a supplier ramp of sensor-shift optical image stabilization to all four iPhone 13 models when Apple had only used sensor-shift stabilization on the iPhone 12 Pro Max, while the other models relied on OIS (optical image stabilization).

Even with the iPhone 14 development, there have been glitches in the camera coating. Rear cameras that Taiwan’s Genius Electronic Optical Co. supplied experienced coating-crack quality issues. As a result, Apple had to move 10 million lens orders to Largan Precision to prevent iPhone 14 shipment delays.

Smartphone Shipments May Be Down, But Apple is Up – A Positive

Much of the negative news surrounding the consumer electronics market is a headline that's not well thought out. Indeed, smartphone shipments decreased on a YoY basis, but Apple shipments increased.

Research firm Counterpoint Researchsaidthat Apple saw 147% year-over-year growth in the $1,000 and above portion of the smartphone market, accounting for 46% of the total market.

On aglobal basis, overall smartphone shipments fell -7% YoY to 291 million units in Q2 2022. But Apple shipped 48 million iPhones worldwide, up +3% YoY, for 16% global market share in Q2 2022, as shown in Chart 1. This is the highest second quarter market share for Apple over the past 10 years, at the expense of leading Chinese brands who were hampered by the sluggish performance in both home and overseas market. Apple had a good quarter, led by iPhone 13 series which continued to ramp up volumes in US, China and other key markets, according to the company.

Strategy Analytics

Chart 1

Will Dour Economy Influence iPhone 14 Sales?

Macroeconomic headwinds have been a challenge for investors, particularly inflation. In the past month since Apple’s F3Q earnings call, these headwinds have abated somewhat. As seen in Table 1, all iPhone events since the iPhone 4S in 2011 were introduced later than the Sept. 7, 2022, date of the iPhone 14 event.AppleThis suggests that Apple’s supply chain is under control and can deliver on time. In previous years, several iPhones were introduced later than planned, primarily due to supply chain issues. The iPhone 12 was delayed because of 5G parts shortages.Last year's iPhone 13 production ultimately fell 20% short of the initial plan in September and October. The root cause of delays revolved around the need for a supplier ramp of sensor-shift optical image stabilization to all four iPhone 13 models when Apple had only used sensor-shift stabilization on the iPhone 12 Pro Max, while the other models relied on OIS (optical image stabilization).Even with the iPhone 14 development, there have been glitches in the camera coating. Rear cameras that Taiwan’s Genius Electronic Optical Co. supplied experienced coating-crack quality issues. As a result, Apple had to move 10 million lens orders to Largan Precision to prevent iPhone 14 shipment delays.Smartphone Shipments May Be Down, But Apple is Up – A PositiveMuch of the negative news surrounding the consumer electronics market is a headline that's not well thought out. Indeed, smartphone shipments decreased on a YoY basis, but Apple shipments increased.Research firm Counterpoint Researchsaidthat Apple saw 147% year-over-year growth in the $1,000 and above portion of the smartphone market, accounting for 46% of the total market. Apple had a good quarter, led by iPhone 13 series which continued to ramp up volumes in US, China and other key markets, according to the company.Strategy AnalyticsChart 1Will Dour Economy Influence iPhone 14 Sales?Macroeconomic headwinds have been a challenge for investors, particularly inflation. In the past month since Apple’s F3Q earnings call, these headwinds have abated somewhat. But the reasoning for moving up the Apple event Sept. 7 has raised speculation that it was done in light of the economic malaise impacting consumers prior to further negative news.I see the move as an opportunity for Apple tojump startits supply chain economically since its delivery schedule appears to be stable with no glitches. I say interesting with quotes because we've witnessed some truly unprecedented economic data and headlines. In no particular order, we've:Watched the U.S. inflation rate soar to levels not seen since the early days of the Reagan administration.Seen Russia's invasion of Ukraine cripple an already fragile energy supply chain.Borne witness to back-to-back quarters of U.S. gross domestic product declines that hasn't officially been labeled as a recession.Witnessed the Federal Reserve begin a monetary tightening cycle with the stock market in a notable decline. As if this wasn't enough, Wall Street was graced with an eye-popping headline following the release of Berkshire Hathaway's (BRK.A 1.66%) (BRK.B 1.71%) earnings report on Aug. 6, 2022. In the three months ended June 30, 2022, Berkshire Hathaway lost -- and I hope you're sitting down for this -- $43.76 billion dollars. How on Earth did Berkshire CEO Warren Buffett, one of the greatest investors of our generation, manage to lose almost $44 billion in three months' time? Let me spoil it for you: All is not what it seems in Berkshire's quarterly earnings report.Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett. Image source: The Motley Fool.Berkshire Hathaway's historic quarterly loss isn't what it seemsBack in 2016, the Financial Accounting Standards Board passed new measures aimed at making corporate income statements, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) reporting, more transparent for investors. One of these measures, ASU 2016-01 (\"Recognition and Measurement of Financial Assets and Financial Liabilities\"), eliminated the need to classify various categories of equity investments and, instead, required that equity investments be measured at fair value. This meant that changes in equity investments from one quarter to the next would be recognized as net income, or a net loss. Berkshire Hathaway officially adopted this accounting change in its reporting beginning in 2018.In simpler terms, the closing price of Warren Buffett's investments on March 31, 2022 represented their fair value at the end of the first quarter. Comparably, the closing price of securities on June 30, 2022 represented their fair value at the end of the second quarter. In addition to counting the realized gains and losses recognized by selling stocks, ASU 2016-01 requires Buffett's company to recognize the unrealized gains and losses as a result of share price movements in its investment portfolio from one quarter to the next.During the second quarter, the three major U.S. stock indexes were pummeled. The timeless Dow Jones Industrial Average, broad-based S&P 500, and tech-centric Nasdaq Composite respectively plunged by 11.3%, 16.5%, and 22.4% in a three-month stretch. Not surprisingly, Berkshire Hathaway's investment portfolio took it on the chin as well. This resulted in a staggering \"loss\" of $66.9 billion from investments and derivative contracts in just three months, and the aforementioned net loss of almost $44 billion for the second quarter.Image source: Getty Images.Warren Buffett's company is as strong as everDid Warren Buffett lose close to $44 billion in three months? On paper, and based on financial requirements, yes. But when looking at what counts, this was another successful quarter for the Oracle of Omaha and his company. To begin with, Warren Buffett and his investing lieutenants, Todd Combs and Ted Weschler, aren't traders. While they might chase the rare arbitrage play or high-yielding stock in an inflationary environment, most of Berkshire Hathaway's more than four dozen holdings are longer-term investments. In fact, the Oracle of Omaha has continuously held 15 stocks for at least a decade. Stocks are always going to ebb and flow, which makes unrealized gains and losses something of a moot point in Berkshire Hathaway's quarterly operating results.A far better measure of Warren Buffett's success as an investor can be found in his annual letter to shareholders. In that letter, investors can see that Berkshire Hathaway's Class A shares (BRK.A) have averaged a 20.1% annual return since the Oracle of Omaha became CEO in 1965. Imagine averaging a 20.1% annual return for 57 years! To add, \"unrealized losses\" is simply another phrase that means opportunity for Warren Buffett. A declining stock market provides the Oracle of Omaha and his investing team with the opportunity to deploy their mammoth cash pile into stocks, acquisitions, or even share buybacks. The plunging stock market during the second quarter allowed Buffett to buy $57.3 billion worth of equity securities, as well as $1 billion worth of the company's Class A and B common stock. Buffett and his right-hand man Charlie Munger have overseen $62.1 billion in aggregate stock buybacks since July 2018.Another thing for investors to note is that Berkshire Hathaway's over five dozen owned entities performed extremely well during the challenging second quarter (Q2). Total insurance earnings hit $3 billion, which was up from $1.9 billion in Q2 2021, while railroad BNSF saw its quarterly profit rise to $2.15 billion from $1.98 billion in the prior-year quarter. All told, Berkshire Hathaway's operating businesses increased their net income to $10 billion in Q2 2022 from $8.6 billion in the prior-year period.Sure, Warren Buffett oversaw a nearly $44 billion \"loss\" in the second quarter. However, his company is as strong as it's ever been.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"BRK.A":1,"ORCL":0.9,"BRK.B":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1672,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9990732155,"gmtCreate":1660424915180,"gmtModify":1676533466551,"author":{"id":"4087949413245130","authorId":"4087949413245130","name":"HoSeyLiao48","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8a9a7795aa16cbb122ca86630c428a3a","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4087949413245130","authorIdStr":"4087949413245130"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Like] [Like] [Like] ","listText":"[Like] [Like] [Like] ","text":"[Like] [Like] [Like]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9990732155","repostId":"9990332384","repostType":1,"repost":{"id":9990332384,"gmtCreate":1660284249652,"gmtModify":1676533444358,"author":{"id":"4096093486770560","authorId":"4096093486770560","name":"highhand","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/200574f2d0554f4c05c65c156ddc6e73","crmLevel":13,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4096093486770560","authorIdStr":"4096093486770560"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Are you still grounded $SINGAPORE AIRLINES LTD(C6L.SI)$?Dear SQ,Why is your stock price still stuck at $5.4 and can't break through resistance? With the market's retreat lately, a great many stocks are at, or teasing, their recent low-water marks. This presents some nearly irresistible opportunities for investors, particularly if they like high-yielding dividends. As prices go down, yields go up, and that dynamic has made both Target and AbbVie excellent choices for bargain-hunters searching for quality companies with yields well above the current 1.7% average of S&P 500 index stocks.1. TargetFor quite some time, Target was the retail stock that could do no wrong. The company repeatedly posted revenue growth and strong profitability, even through the pandemic, and there was little indication of serious trouble. That all came to a crashing halt with its first-quarter 2022 results. The company missed badly on the bottom line due largely to ballooning inflation and inventory issues.Neither of these difficulties will melt away quickly, but at the same time, we know they're not going to linger forever. The aggressive discounting Target has been doing to clear its excess inventory will continue to dampen its profit margins, but eventually, the company will get inventory back to its typical, more reasonable, levels. Inflation might prove to be a more stubborn headwind. However, let's keep in mind that Russia's apparently unsustainable war in Ukraine and the (hopefully fading) pandemic were two big drivers of the ongoing supply chain disruptions that are fueling that inflation. With an improving macroeconomic situation at its back, Target should return to delivering the envy-of-the-retail-sector profit margins that drew investors to its stock in recent years. At the moment, though, its forward P/E has shriveled to barely above 16, a very low number considering how effectively management cranked profitability higher in preceding quarters.Earlier this month, to help maintain its Dividend Kingstatus, Target raised its payout by 20% -- a gutsy move given the crushing disappointment of its Q1 earnings.Management is smart and careful, and I don't think they'd pull such a lever simply to keep shareholders on board, or to keep the renown conferred with Dividend King status. I feel they're confident the company's fundamentals will rebound. As they do, folks piling into the stock at current share prices will enjoy a 3.1% dividend yield. They should also have the pleasure of seeing that depressed stock rise again.2. AbbVieAnother Dividend King with a tarnished crown ispharmaceutical sectorgiant AbbVie. The company currently has the distinction of being the entity behind the world's best-selling drug: Humira. The big catch with Humira, though, is that its patent protection expires next year, so the Mississippi River-sized revenue stream that it has historically produced will thin out quickly as it starts competing with biosimilars.Yet AbbVie is far more than just one product. Two of its more recently approved drugs -- Skyrizi and Rinboq, developed as replacements for Humira -- together brought in over $4.5 billion in sales last year. That amounted to growth of more than 80% over the 2020 figure. Smart acquisitions, like that of Botox maker Allergan in 2020, have also beefed up its portfolio. So the AbbVie growth train keeps barreling along. Thanks to those blockbusters and the acquisitions, its revenue nearly doubled from 2017 to 2021, landing at over $56 billion. Net profit, meanwhile, more than doubled over that stretch to almost $11.5 billion.Like the best high-potential drug developers, AbbVie has a pipeline that is wide and deep. The company has a dizzying number of programs covering a range of maladies. Oncology is a particular strength, and the company is active in other high-interest areas such as immunology, neuroscience, and virology. With the erosion of its share price -- more due to general market gloominess than anything else -- AbbVie is now a high-yield superstar in the healthcare sector. Its quarterly payout of $1.41 amounts to a yield of over 4%, trouncing even the bluest of the blue chip stocks in other industries.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"TGT":0.9,"ABBV":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1833,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9041000557,"gmtCreate":1655973561979,"gmtModify":1676535743278,"author":{"id":"4087949413245130","authorId":"4087949413245130","name":"HoSeyLiao48","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8a9a7795aa16cbb122ca86630c428a3a","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4087949413245130","authorIdStr":"4087949413245130"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Like] [Call] [USD] [Allin] ","listText":"[Like] [Call] [USD] [Allin] ","text":"[Like] [Call] [USD] [Allin]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9041000557","repostId":"9043744770","repostType":1,"repost":{"id":9043744770,"gmtCreate":1655971879690,"gmtModify":1676535743015,"author":{"id":"4101948424484190","authorId":"4101948424484190","name":"Success88","avatar":"https://static.itradeup.com/news/4408e1a22d73e99adb53aa65dde8ad91","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4101948424484190","authorIdStr":"4101948424484190"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$SHENG SIONG GROUP LTD(OV8.SI)$ Despite the uncertain situation. Investors would be curious to see if the chipmaker can continue on with its streak of revenue outperformance this time as well, amidst a challenging supply chain environment. But in addition to tracking its revenue figure, investors may also want to monitor its purchase obligations, its segment financials, its management's remarks around their supply situation and their outlook for Q2. These items will highlight Nvidia's near-term prospects and are likely to have a bearing on where its shares head next. Let's take a closer look.

Gauging the Supply Situation

Let me start by saying that Nvidia's management has done a terrific job at growing their business rapidly in the last decade. They've successfully tapped pockets of growth within the consumer and enterprise computing space, far before their peers, which has been the main driver for its consistent growth. To put things in perspective, its revenue has risen sequentially in 11 of its last 12 quarters. This is a commendable feat and an enviable position to be in.

Having said that, Nvidia's growth momentum could temporarily slow down in Q1. I say this because China imposed strict COVID-19-related lockdowns in the first half of April, which has worsened chip shortages globally. It's gotten to a point where companies are stripping washing machines for semiconductor chips and/or foregoing installing infotainment functionality in cars. Nvidia's Q1 typically ends in the first week of May or in the last week of April, which means that it may have borne the brunt of these shortages for a good 3 weeks at least and its revenue for the period may have taken a hit.

One might argue that the chipmaker's peers, Intel (INTC) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), did not report any such supply disruptions in their Q1 results, and, so, Nvidia will also be unfazed. However, that isn't necessarily a given, considering that both AMD and Intel closed their quarters within March, well before China imposed widespread lockdowns. So, the first order of business for readers should be to listen to Nvidia management's remarks on how adversely has their business been affected by these lockdowns and chip shortages.

If Nvidia's management doesn't provide clarity around their supply situation, then fret not. We'll have a data point to rely upon, called "inventory purchase obligations," which can act as a proxy for management's outlook. It's basically the total dollar-amount that the chipmaker has committed, for purchasing inventory from its vendors, suppliers and channel partners. Companies typically book inventories by forecasting their demand-supply trends.

BusinessQuant.com

If the figure is flat sequentially, then it would suggest that Nvidia isn't experiencing any major supply setbacks and that it is business as usual. On the other hand, a dramatic buildup in its purchase obligations would imply that Nvidia is experiencing strong customer demand and/or that it's rushing to book inventories amidst intensifying chip shortages. So, make sure to also monitor Nvidia's purchase obligations in its upcoming Q1 earnings report.

With that said, let's now shift attention to financial expectations from Nvidia's Q1 earnings report.

Financial Breakdown

It's worth noting that Nvidia generates its revenue from five end-markets namely, data center, gaming, OEM & IP, automotive and professional visualization. Amongst these, the bulk of its revenue (44.7% in Q4 FY22) comes from its gaming-related SKUs.

BusinessQuant.com

Nvidia's gaming market is seeing a few trends of its own:

The recent selloff in cryptocurrencies makes crypto mining less lucrative and is likely to reduce the demand for GPUs;

ASPs for all GPUs, be it Nvidia or AMD, has declined during the quarter and approached their MSRP-levels;

The declined prices and heightened availability of stocks should, ideally, boost the demand from the PC builder's segment;

There may be supply-side constraints given China's strict COVID-19 lockdowns that were recently imposed.

So, while I'm bullish on Nvidia's gaming business over the longer run, I contend that its growth momentum is likely to take a breather in Q1 and in Q2. I expect its gaming revenue growth to slow down to around 6% sequentially, and estimate it to post revenue of $3.62 billion in the said quarter.

Moving on, Nvidia's data center business is its second-largest breadwinner, and it accounted for roughly 43% of the chipmaker's total revenue last quarter. The vertical has performed really well in the past few years, posting sequential revenue growth in each of its last 12 quarters.

Having said that, enterprise sales were subdued during the quarter, at least for other chipmakers that cater to an identical set of customers. So, due to this channel seasonality, I expect Nvidia's data center revenue to remain under pressure during Q1. I believe the division's sequential revenue growth will simmer down to mid single digits (~5%) in its upcoming earnings report and that its actual revenue figure will hover around $3.46 billion.

BusinessQuant.com

Its professional visualization revenue seems poised grow 10% sequentially due to improving pricing and volume mix. However, its automotive and OEM/IP revenue streams don't have any material catalysts to reverse or stabilize the ongoing decline in their revenue. So, I expect these verticals to, once again, report revenue declines in Q1, albeit at lower rates compared to prior quarters.

This brings us to a company-wide revenue estimate of $8.05 billion. Interestingly, my estimate happens to be in-line with the Street'sestimatesthat currently span from $8.01 billion and $8.33 billion.

BusinessQuant.com

But with that said, also pay close attention to Nvidia management's revenue outlook for Q2 and for the rest of the year. If its supply situation actually deteriorated due to lockdowns in China, then the chipmaker's top brass is likely to issue a rather conservative guidance for the foreseeable future.

Final Thoughts

There's no denying that Nvidia is a rapidly growing company and a technology leader in its space. However, the stock is trading at a significantly higher Price-to-Sales (or P/S) multiple when compared to some of the other rapidly-growing semiconductor companies, suggesting that this might not yet be the ideal time for bottom-fishing.

BusinessQuant.com

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Nvidia: Get Set, Go
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nNvidia: Get Set, Go\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2022-05-20 16:50 GMT+8 Seeking Alpha\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
SummaryNvidia is scheduled to report its Q1 FY23 results on May 25.Its revenue is likely to amount to $8.05 billion, up 42% year-over-year.But Nvidia's management may issue a conservative guidance in ...
\n\nSource Link\n\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"NVDA":"英伟达"},"source_url":"https://seekingalpha.com/article/4512965-nvidia-get-set-go","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"1191310297","content_text":"SummaryNvidia is scheduled to report its Q1 FY23 results on May 25.Its revenue is likely to amount to $8.05 billion, up 42% year-over-year.But Nvidia's management may issue a conservative guidance in light of worsening chip shortages.NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) is slated to release its Q1 FY23resultsnext week on May 25. I say this because China imposed strict COVID-19-related lockdowns in the first half of April, which has worsened chip shortages globally. It's gotten to a point where companies are stripping washing machines for semiconductor chips and/or foregoing installing infotainment functionality in cars. Nvidia's Q1 typically ends in the first week of May or in the last week of April, which means that it may have borne the brunt of these shortages for a good 3 weeks at least and its revenue for the period may have taken a hit.One might argue that the chipmaker's peers, Intel (INTC) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), did not report any such supply disruptions in their Q1 results, and, so, Nvidia will also be unfazed. We'll have a data point to rely upon, called \"inventory purchase obligations,\" which can act as a proxy for management's outlook. It's basically the total dollar-amount that the chipmaker has committed, for purchasing inventory from its vendors, suppliers and channel partners. Companies typically book inventories by forecasting their demand-supply trends.BusinessQuant.comIf the figure is flat sequentially, then it would suggest that Nvidia isn't experiencing any major supply setbacks and that it is business as usual. With that said, let's now shift attention to financial expectations from Nvidia's Q1 earnings report.Financial BreakdownIt's worth noting that Nvidia generates its revenue from five end-markets namely, data center, gaming, OEM & IP, automotive and professional visualization. Amongst these, the bulk of its revenue (44.7% in Q4 FY22) comes from its gaming-related SKUs.BusinessQuant.comNvidia's gaming market is seeing a few trends of its own:The recent selloff in cryptocurrencies makes crypto mining less lucrative and is likely to reduce the demand for GPUs;ASPs for all GPUs, be it Nvidia or AMD, has declined during the quarter and approached their MSRP-levels;The declined prices and heightened availability of stocks should, ideally, boost the demand from the PC builder's segment; There may be supply-side constraints given China's strict COVID-19 lockdowns that were recently imposed. So, while I'm bullish on Nvidia's gaming business over the longer run, I contend that its growth momentum is likely to take a breather in Q1 and in Q2. I expect its gaming revenue growth to slow down to around 6% sequentially, and estimate it to post revenue of $3.62 billion in the said quarter.Moving on, Nvidia's data center business is its second-largest breadwinner, and it accounted for roughly 43% of the chipmaker's total revenue last quarter. The vertical has performed really well in the past few years, posting sequential revenue growth in each of its last 12 quarters.Having said that, enterprise sales were subdued during the quarter, at least for other chipmakers that cater to an identical set of customers. So, due to this channel seasonality, I expect Nvidia's data center revenue to remain under pressure during Q1. I believe the division's sequential revenue growth will simmer down to mid single digits (~5%) in its upcoming earnings report and that its actual revenue figure will hover around $3.46 billion.BusinessQuant.comIts professional visualization revenue seems poised grow 10% sequentially due to improving pricing and volume mix. Interestingly, my estimate happens to be in-line with the Street'sestimatesthat currently span from $8.01 billion and $8.33 billion.BusinessQuant.comBut with that said, also pay close attention to Nvidia management's revenue outlook for Q2 and for the rest of the year. If its supply situation actually deteriorated due to lockdowns in China, then the chipmaker's top brass is likely to issue a rather conservative guidance for the foreseeable future.Final ThoughtsThere's no denying that Nvidia is a rapidly growing company and a technology leader in its space. However, the stock is trading at a significantly higher Price-to-Sales (or P/S) multiple when compared to some of the other rapidly-growing semiconductor companies, suggesting that this might not yet be the ideal time for bottom-fishing.BusinessQuant.com","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"NVDA":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1343,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"hots":[{"id":306299881250832,"gmtCreate":1715815405314,"gmtModify":1715815408762,"author":{"id":"4087949413245130","authorId":"4087949413245130","name":"HoSeyLiao48","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8a9a7795aa16cbb122ca86630c428a3a","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4087949413245130","idStr":"4087949413245130"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ [Miser] ","listText":"$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ [Miser] ","text":"$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ [Miser]","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/4b680097a4efbbed8a18f944960d393b","width":"906","height":"1406"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/306299881250832","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2812,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9033495519,"gmtCreate":1646341519303,"gmtModify":1676534118114,"author":{"id":"4087949413245130","authorId":"4087949413245130","name":"HoSeyLiao48","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8a9a7795aa16cbb122ca86630c428a3a","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4087949413245130","idStr":"4087949413245130"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Allin] [USD] [Call] [Like] [Bless] [Bless] [Bless] ","listText":"[Allin] [USD] [Call] [Like] [Bless] [Bless] [Bless] ","text":"[Allin] [USD] [Call] [Like] [Bless] [Bless] [Bless]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":10,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9033495519","repostId":"1192357642","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1257,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[{"author":{"id":"3559581955535845","authorId":"3559581955535845","name":"koolgal","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c05274d88ffc0434623e57350c52c70a","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"authorIdStr":"3559581955535845","idStr":"3559581955535845"},"content":"To the moon","text":"To the moon","html":"To the moon"}],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9094103539,"gmtCreate":1645071497737,"gmtModify":1676533994321,"author":{"id":"4087949413245130","authorId":"4087949413245130","name":"HoSeyLiao48","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8a9a7795aa16cbb122ca86630c428a3a","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4087949413245130","idStr":"4087949413245130"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Yes! That means we can all learn a lot from his buy-and-hold approach to investing and perhaps even get some much-needed inspiration from his stock picks.Buffett oversees his company's investment portfolio, and two stocks in there that are most definitely worth buying and holding onto today are drugmaker AbbVie (NYSE:ABBV) and tech giant Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL). Here's why.ABBV Total Return Level data by YCharts1. AbbViePharmaceutical companies have the advantage of offering products that are always in demand. AbbVie's portfolio includes immunology drugs Humira, Skyrizi, and Rinvoq; cancer medicines Imbruvica and Venclexta; and schizophrenia treatment Vraylar. In 2021, AbbVie's net revenue came in at $56.1 billion, 10.5% higher than the year-ago period. That's a solid top-line performance for a pharma giant. The drugmaker's adjusted earnings per share for the year increased 20.3% to $12.70. Note that AbbVie's Humira made up almost 37% of the company's total revenue last year. That is a problem since the healthcare company will lose patent exclusivity for this medicine in the U.S. next year. Humira's loss of patent exclusivity in Europe back in 2018 significantly harmed its international revenue.Still, the company is prepared to deal with the inevitable revenue losses Humira will experience in the U.S. in the coming years. Skyrizi and Rinvoq are well on their way to earning approvals across most of Humira's indications, and they already have significant wins under their belt. In 2021, Sales of Rinvoq more than doubled to $1.7 billion while revenue from Skyrizi increased by 85% to $2.9 billion.Skyrizi and Rinvoq seem well-equipped to fill the gaping hole that Humira will leave, but the company can count on its other products as well, including its Botox franchise. Many of the company's products boast patents that won't expire anytime soon. Plus, AbbVie has a pipeline with dozens of ongoing programs. Expect new approvals and label expansions to add to the company's revenue base routinely.AbbVie's solid business helps support its excellent dividend track record. The company is part of the exclusive club of Dividend Kings, or companies that have raised their payouts for at least 50 consecutive years. And with an above-average yield of 3.74% and a conservative payout ratio of 42%, AbbVie looks more than able to sustain further dividend increases ahead. That's just one more reason to purchase shares of this pharma giant. Overall, AbbVie looks like a solid company to hold on to through thick and thin.2. AppleApple's iPhone has been immensely successful since it was introduced in 2007. The company remains a leader in this industry with a 22% share of the smartphone market in the fourth quarter of 2021. During its fiscal year 2021 (ended Sept. 25), Apple generated $192 billion in sales from its iPhone segment, 39.3% higher than the previous fiscal year.Could Apple lose its dominance in the smartphone market? It wouldn't be the first time something like that happens. Apple itself played an instrumental role in the decline of BlackBerry's once-booming smartphone business starting in the late 2000s. Could other companies permanently dethrone Apple?Given how popular and powerful the company's brand has become, it is hard to imagine Apple no longer being one of the most prominent players in this field, at least for the foreseeable future. More importantly, though, Apple has leveraged its strong brand name and robust cash flow generation to invest in and grow its services business. The company's services segment offers customers a range of products, including Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Pay, iCloud, and more. The great thing about this business is that it offers much juicier margins than the sale of hardware products such as the iPhone, tablets, and laptops. In other words, as Apple's services revenue grows -- and as it captures a larger share of the company's total revenue -- that will work wonders for the company's bottom line.iPhone sales will likely remain strong for many more years, especially as Apple makes headway into various international markets. But the company's future is increasingly tied to its services segment, and that's something that should excite investors. Even with a $2.8 trillion market cap, Apple still has considerable room to grow. No wonder it is one of the largest holdings in Buffett's portfolio.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"ABBV":1,"AAPL":1,"BRK.B":0.71,"BRK.A":0.71}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":914,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9001611625,"gmtCreate":1641244914948,"gmtModify":1676533586277,"author":{"id":"4087949413245130","authorId":"4087949413245130","name":"HoSeyLiao48","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8a9a7795aa16cbb122ca86630c428a3a","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4087949413245130","idStr":"4087949413245130"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[USD] [Allin] [Call] [Like] ","listText":"[USD] [Allin] [Call] [Like] ","text":"[USD] [Allin] [Call] [Like]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9001611625","repostId":"1145865545","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1145865545","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1641221107,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1145865545?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-01-03 22:45","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Semiconductor stocks jumped in morning trading, with TSM rising nearly 5%","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1145865545","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Semiconductor stocks jumped in morning trading, with TSM rising nearly 5%.According to the latest re","content":"

Semiconductor stocks jumped in morning trading, with TSM rising nearly 5%.According to the latest research report of Goldman Sachs, the growth rate of TSMC in 2022 will be higher than that in 2021 due to the rise of chip prices, the industry upgrading cycle of high performance computer (HPC) / 5G and other favorable factors. Instead, I sought standard \"value\" and found companies that were incredibly cheap, but often seriously broken, that unfortunately deserved their discounted valuations.By simply accepting that most premium stocks trade at expensive-looking valuations, I entered the land of long-term investing and ultimately multibagger potential.Today we will study Zoom Video Communications (NASDAQ:ZM), Pinterest (NYSE:PINS), and DocuSign (NASDAQ:DOCU), three stocks that fit this expensive-looking mold, yet could be wildly undervalued when looking out over the next decade, thanks to their high revenue growth and strong free cash flow (FCF) generation.High growth at intriguing valuationsMarket CapLevered FCFP/FCF RatioRevenue Growth YOYZoom Video$55 billion$1.51 billion36100%Pinterest$24 billion$470 million5176%DocuSign$29 billion$753 million3951%Data source: Yahoo! Finance and CMLViz statistics. Note that Levered FCF and Revenue Growth are using trailing 12-month figures. YOY = year over year. FCF = free cash flow. P/FCF = price-to-FCF.While highly unscientific, one of my favorite ways to measure a stock's growth potential versus its current price is to compare year-over-year revenue growth with its price-to-FCF ratio. As shown in the table above, Zoom, Pinterest, and DocuSign all have a growth rate higher than their FCF multiples.Whenever a stock's growth rate is higher than its FCF multiple, it catches my attention, highlighting the beautiful combination of solid sales growth with reasonably priced cash generation. With that in mind, let's look at my three recommendations.1. Zoom Video CommunicationsFirst up today is the fastest growing and cheapest valuation of the trio, Zoom Video Communications. Because its share price has dropped nearly 50% over the last six months amid decelerating sales growth, Zoom looks attractively valued compared to the $1.5 billion in free cash flow it created over the previous 12 months. While its 100% revenue growth over the last 12 months will probably not repeat in 2022, its third-quarter growth of 35% year over year is more than enough to make its freshly discounted valuation appealing. Furthermore, with 14 consecutive quarters with a dollar-based net expansion (DBNE) rate above 130%, Zoom has demonstrated that its land-and-expand business model is firing on all cylinders.DBNE is a great way to measure increased product use by existing customers, despite not accounting for customer churn. For Zoom, this 130% rate is highly promising as it shows that it is getting its foot in the door with its famous Meetings product and upselling customers on newer products, such as Zoom Rooms and Zoom Phone. Should the company's DBNE continue at these levels, it will signal that its business model is still succeeding.Furthermore, with international sales only accounting for 33% of Zoom's total revenue, its global ambitions are still in their infancy. This international growth runway, paired with the company's strong FCF and recently discounted share price, makes Zoom a great core holding for the next decade.2. PinterestNext up, we have Pinterest with its inspiration-creating platform and newly developed FCF generation. Unfortunately, despite the promise of these positive cash flows, Pinterest's stock has dropped over 50% in the last six months, due to a rumored abandoned acquisition by PayPal and a decline in monthly active users (MAUs).But two key things are happening behind the scenes for Pinterest, making today's valuation very tempting.First, the company's fledgling shopping features are starting to take off, with product searches up over 100% for the third quarter, year over year. Better yet, members of the all-important Generation Z demographic (ages 9 to 24) increased their product searches on the shop tab by over 200% for the third quarter.Second, despite having four times the number of international MAUs than in the U.S., the international segment only accounts for 21% of Pinterest's overall revenue. This is due to the massive gap in average revenue per user (ARPU) between U.S. and international users, which is $5.55 and $0.38, respectively. This gap is essential for investors to watch as Pinterest launched its shopping features in seven key international markets during the third quarter: Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Brazil, and Mexico. As these markets mature, along with Pinterest's shopping features in general, investors should see this ARPU gap between the U.S. and international narrow, bringing strong monetization to the company's global footprint.3. DocuSignFamous for its e-signature product, DocuSign is on a mission to prove that it is more than just a one-trick pony. Moving beyond its e-signature dominance, the company has its eyes set on a broader target market that it hopes to serve through its Agreement Cloud, which consists of four segments: prepare, sign, act, and manage. With its Agreement Cloud, DocuSign intends to parlay its leadership in e-signatures into becoming the leader in automated end-to-end agreement processes. While the company does not break out numbers for each segment of the Agreement Cloud, we can get a good idea of its ongoing success through DocuSign's 121% dollar-based net retention (DBNR) rate.DBNR shows the rate at which existing customers are expanding their use of the company's products. Since DBNR includes customer churn, a figure above 120% is exceptional. So DocuSign's track record of being above this mark for six consecutive quarters is very impressive. Cloud infrastructure spending grew 37% year over year in the third quarter, with services from Amazon, Microsoft, and Alphabet's Google controlling 63% of the market. That's good news for Snowflake since its cloud-based data warehousing system is compatible with these cloud services. Snowflake is piggybacking the growth of the market. Some of the largest companies in the world use Snowflake to organize, share data, and gather insights to optimize their operations. Let's look at three reasons to buy the stock before considering why investors might want to take a pass.1. Snowflake is reaching critical massSnowflake offers several features, including data warehousing, data lakes, data engineering, data science, data application development, and data sharing. There are many reasons that a company would choose Snowflake, but a few key benefits are ease of use, good security features, and a consumption-based business model that only charges customers for what they use.A previous story from Harvard Business Review explained how Kraft Heinz benefited after moving half a trillion records over to Snowflake's platform through Microsoft Azure. Since making that move, Kraft Heinz has been able to better understand its supply chain to get the right inventory to supermarkets during the pandemic.Nearly half of the Fortune 500 uses Snowflake. Since its initial public offering in September 2020, Snowflake has posted revenue growth rates above 100% every quarter. While past performance shouldn't be used to predict future growth, the business has a lot of upside. Management previously estimated the long-term addressable market at $81 billion as of January 2020. That's massive compared to its trailing-12-month revenue total of $1 billion.2. A widening competitive moatOne risk to Snowflake's growth is that it competes with Amazon Web Services and other top cloud providers that offer similar solutions. But one way Snowflake separates itself is by enabling expanding use cases on the platform through data sharing. For example, Snowflake's data marketplace allows advertising and media companies to access viewership data across hundreds of sources without having to build costly data pipelines. By simply joining Snowflake's platform, companies can exchange and share data with other Snowflake clients, which is enormously valuable.Data sharing gives Snowflake a network effect competitive advantage. The more businesses join the platform, the more data other customers can access, which increases the value for all customers. Eight new Fortune 500 companies joined Snowflake in its Q3 -- a sign its competitive moat just got a little wider.3. Management's long-term outlookSnowflake's growing network effect should lead to another competitive advantage -- switching costs. As it builds a greater marketplace of shared data, it incentivizes companies to stick with Snowflake because switching to another platform would mean losing access to data that wouldn't be available elsewhere.A growing market coupled with Snowflake's strengths explains why management sees a path to reach $10 billion in product revenue by fiscal 2029 (which ends in January). That translates to an annualized growth rate of about 39% from calendar 2021. Management believes revenue can still grow at 30% per year beyond fiscal 2029, with the business generating a 15% free cash flow margin.Beware of Snowflake's high price tagBased on management's long-term target, Snowflake should be generating $1.5 billion in free cash flow by fiscal 2029. It seems investors are banking on that outlook, and then some.Snowflake's current market cap (total shares outstanding times the stock price) is $101 billion. That is 67 times what management believes free cash flow will be in seven years. To understand how expensive that is, let's compare Snowflake's valuation to another top cloud provider, Alphabet. Google's parent company just posted revenue growth of 41% year over year in Q3, but its share price trades at 30 times trailing-12-month free cash flow.Even the high-flying chipmaker Nvidia, which sells graphics processors to the top cloud providers, trades at 107 times trailing free cash flow. I would rather pay a high multiple for free cash flow already booked than pay a high valuation for a future promise that is years away.Ultimately, valuation matters. Snowflake is a promising investment opportunity, but investors should consider other software stocks that offer better value before buying shares of Snowflake.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"SNOW":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":766,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9021693342,"gmtCreate":1653039559186,"gmtModify":1676535212942,"author":{"id":"4087949413245130","authorId":"4087949413245130","name":"HoSeyLiao48","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8a9a7795aa16cbb122ca86630c428a3a","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4087949413245130","idStr":"4087949413245130"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Allin] [USD] [Call] [Like] ","listText":"[Allin] [USD] [Call] [Like] ","text":"[Allin] [USD] [Call] [Like]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9021693342","repostId":"1191310297","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1191310297","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1653036637,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1191310297?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-05-20 16:50","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Nvidia: Get Set, Go","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1191310297","media":"Seeking Alpha","summary":"SummaryNvidia is scheduled to report its Q1 FY23 results on May 25.Its revenue is likely to amount t","content":"

Summary

Nvidia is scheduled to report its Q1 FY23 results on May 25.

Its revenue is likely to amount to $8.05 billion, up 42% year-over-year.

But Nvidia's management may issue a conservative guidance in light of worsening chip shortages.

NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) is slated to release its Q1 FY23resultsnext week on May 25.

The recent selloff in cryptocurrencies makes crypto mining less lucrative and is likely to reduce the demand for GPUs;

ASPs for all GPUs, be it Nvidia or AMD, has declined during the quarter and approached their MSRP-levels;

The declined prices and heightened availability of stocks should, ideally, boost the demand from the PC builder's segment;

However, the stock is trading at a significantly higher Price-to-Sales (or P/S) multiple when compared to some of the other rapidly-growing semiconductor companies, suggesting that this might not yet be the ideal time for bottom-fishing.BusinessQuant.com","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"NVDA":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":900,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9068351151,"gmtCreate":1651722873919,"gmtModify":1676534957111,"author":{"id":"4087949413245130","authorId":"4087949413245130","name":"HoSeyLiao48","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8a9a7795aa16cbb122ca86630c428a3a","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4087949413245130","idStr":"4087949413245130"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Like] [Allin] [USD] [Call] [Bless] ","listText":"[Like] [Allin] [USD] [Call] [Bless] ","text":"[Like] [Allin] [USD] [Call] [Bless]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":9,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9068351151","repostId":"2233785545","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2233785545","kind":"highlight","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Dow Jones publishes the world’s most trusted business news and financial information in a variety of media.","home_visible":0,"media_name":"Dow Jones","id":"106","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/150f88aa4d182df19190059f4a365e99"},"pubTimestamp":1651721551,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2233785545?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-05-05 11:32","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Berkshire Holds 15.2% of Occidental Petroleum After $350 Million of Buys This Week","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2233785545","media":"Dow Jones","summary":"Berkshire Hathaway bought about $350 million of stock in Occidental Petroleum on Monday and Tuesday,","content":"

Berkshire Hathaway bought about $350 million of stock in Occidental Petroleum on Monday and Tuesday, lifting its stake in the energy company to $8.8 billion, according to a regulatory filing Wednesday evening.

Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, BRK.B) purchased 5.9 million shares of Occidental Petroleum $(OXY)$ on Monday and Tuesday, with nearly all the purchases occurring on Monday.
