Yet as with the previous times in recent months that AMC stock has spiked, expect its recent move back above $30 per share to be short-lived.The rally by AMC and the stock market have inspired many meme-stock investors to dive back into AMC. But these new developments do not do much to bolster the stockās outlook, and a recent investment by the company is hardly the ābig dealā that some seem to believe it is.Meanwhile, the resurgence in the bullishness towards AMC stock among investors may not last. Some of the previous uncertainty about the Fedās rate hikesĀ may be easing. Still, other worries, including the possibility of a recession, may cause stocks to ultimately fall. Such a decline would result in meme plays like AMC falling more quickly than the overall market.Thatās particularly true because AMC stock continues to trade at a high premium to its underlying value. Donāt get tricked by its latest move higher. In time, the latest surge will likely prove to be little more than a ādead cat bounce.āWhy AMC Stock Has Bounced BackAs I mentioned above, multiple factors are behind AMCās jump from around $16 to more than $20 per share in recent days. First is the factor that has sparked the most headlines: the companyĀ announced that it plans to buy22% ofHycroft Mining Holding Corporation(NASDAQ:HYMC).Secondly, the stock market has performed well since mid-March. The marketās resurgence kicked off following Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powellās latest remarks on the central bankās rate-hike plans. Clearing up some of the uncertainty, the chairmanās statements have helped to lessen some of theĀ investorsā pessimism towards the market. Unfortunately, both of these factors will only temporarily impact the price of AMC stock.But there are important reasons to believe that the market has not yet bottomed. Specifically, we know for sure that further rate hikes are coming, and that the chances of a recession have risen.If a recession is indeed in the cards, the relief rally will fade, and stocks will move lower. This will likely reverse AMCās recent gains and quite possibly send it even lower, as a recession isnāt just bad for the stock, but for the companyās business as well.AMCās Business Continues to Flounder, and the Hycroft Deal Wonāt Save the DayA recession would undermine AMC stock in two ways. First, if an economic downturn does occur, the stock market will sink. And as we saw in the first 2.5 months of the year, when the stock market retreats, meme plays like AMC underperform.Additionally, a recession will, of course, mean that the American economy is contracting. During the current economic expansion, robust consumer spending has helped AMCās business partially recover from the pandemic. Yet with inflation at 40-year highs, consumer spending isĀ already starting to slip,and an economic downturn would cause household spending to decline further.Even worse for AMC, streamingās popularity could increase further and take more market share from theaters, as more movie fans opt to save money by watching new flicks at home. The resulting impact on AMCās performance will outweigh the limited gains that it will generate from its Hycroft investment.Speaking of Hycroft, as anotherInvestorPlacecolumnist, Dana Blankenhorn, recently put it,Ā all that glitters is not goldĀ when it comes to this deal. While Hycroft, a junior miner, is sitting on a gold mine (both literally and figuratively), thereās a reason why HYMC stock is a small-cap penny stock.Itās going to take far more cash than AMCās investment or the proceeds from anĀ at-the-market secondary offeringĀ for Hycroft to extract the tens of billions of dollars of hard-to-reach gold and silver that are supposed to be in its northern Nevada mine. A payoff from AMCās investment in the miner is years away at best and will never arrive at worst.The Takeaway From AMCās Recent RallyAs I argued back in February, theĀ fair value of AMC is less than $10. And thatās assuming that it continues to deliver results in -line with its Q4 earnings. An economic downturn will push the shares closer to their fair value and lower that fair value as belt-tightening among consumers will stymie its post-virus recovery.So what should investors do with AMC stock after its latest surge? Those who own the shares should exploit the stockās rally by selling them. And those who donāt own a position in the shares should stay away from them.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AMC":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3900,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9019562487,"gmtCreate":1648610426759,"gmtModify":1676534364617,"author":{"id":"4110094334541012","authorId":"4110094334541012","name":"Chillichung","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/0113bee9148394d421fa1bd137c12dfe","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4110094334541012","idStr":"4110094334541012"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Will go for AMC~","listText":"Will go for AMC~","text":"Will go for AMC~","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9019562487","repostId":"1114867797","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1114867797","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1648609088,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1114867797?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-30 10:58","market":"us","language":"en","title":"AMC Vs. Fueled by social media, stimulus checks, and just a little boredom, the āmeme stockā came into its own. Two such stocksāGameStop (GME)andĀ AMC Entertainment (AMC)āhave seen their share of ups and downs as part of the meme stock movement.However, are these merely flash-in-the-pan inspirations? Here today and gone tomorrow like the memes for which theyāre named? Or are these potential long-term opportunities? Iām starting to lean bullish on AMC, though I am bearish on GameStop. AMC is making some baffling and yet thrilling moves, while GameStop is stillā¦wellā¦GameStop.The last 12 months for GameStop have been a wild ride by any standard. Trading in a range between around $78 and $302, GameStop has been the soul of volatility. Meanwhile, AMC saw a massive spike back in May, from which it has been frantically retreating ever since.However, a recent rally has emerged, thanks to one key and highly incongruous move that may have turned the company into a serious play.Sticking to and Breaking from the Old ModelGameStop should, theoretically, be doing better than it is. After all, interest in the video game markets spiked dramatically during the pandemic. Even after the government-required lockdowns began to lift, there was still plenty of interest in staying home and playing games.Reports suggest that the gaming market, worth $198.4 billion in 2021, should reach $339.95 billion by 2027ās arrival. Yet, GameStopās strong dependence on used, physical video games doesnāt bode well for it, especially in a market increasingly dominated by digital gaming purchases.When customers can download their game of choice and pay for it via credit card, debit card, or even digital transfer, it limits the impact of a used game dealer. Moreover, some consolesāthe Xbox Series S in particularāwill only work with digital games.However, itās AMC that really catches the attention here. It was in a similar position to GameStop. It was in an industry that benefited substantially from the lockdowns, but it wasnāt in a position to take advantage of that benefit.AMCās focus on brick-and-mortar theaters in a market that was increasingly going to streaming hurt it badly. Streaming was already a threat to the brick-and-mortar theater, but the pandemic exacerbated the problem.AMCās recent move to invest inĀ Hycroft Mining(HYMC)changed the picture. Now, AMC had an industry for boom timesāthe moviesāand a heavy presence in an industry for bust times as well in gold mining.While the two industries arenāt even sort of complementary, itās not like ticket takers are going out with picks and shovels. No, AMC just has a presence in a company that mines gold.Historically, the value of gold has never gone to zero. Sometimes itās been less profitable than others, depending on the cost of inputs like fuel and labor to pull it out of the ground, but gold has always had some value to it.So now, AMC has a presence in a market that should lend it some support in bad times. With theaters, in general, coming back into play and Hollywood rolling out the big-name movies again, AMC is in an excellent position to make a comeback here as well.Concluding ViewsItās clear that some meme stocks are better than others.GameStop looks increasingly like a bad play, and it never looked all that good, to begin with. Its business model is still very much dependent on used physical titles. Thatās bad news in an increasingly digital environment. Its ability to engage in much change is also limited.With a massive downside potential, minimal and declining hedge fund involvement, and no real dividend value to speak of, GameStop continues to look like a bad investment plan.AMC, however, is different. Branching out into precious metals gives it a whole new edge and a perfect market for bad times as well as good. Considering the company is set to find more of these ātransformative deals,ā this could be the start of something big. Though AMC has its own substantial downside risks, it also has more justification for keeping its current pricing than GameStop does.Both AMC and GameStop are risky right now. However, AMC does seem to have a better chance of paying off on that risk than GameStop does. In the past two weeks, AMC stock has more than doubled, including a 45% single-day jump Monday. Itās important to note that the recent rally is not because of fundamental strength, but rather becauseĀ RedditĀ investors are actively trading the stock once again.That is not to say the company hasnātĀ made some interesting movesĀ recently. For instance, it invested in embattled gold and silver minerĀ Hycroft MiningĀ (NASDAQ:HYMC), which is also a Reddit favorite. And todayās blastoff followed aĀ ReutersĀ interviewĀ in which Chief Executive Adam Aron said investors should expect more ātransformationalā deals in the companyās future.Meanwhile, a slate of superhero blockbusters has saved the day for AMC. However, barring a few tentpole releases, there is not much to see regarding box office numbers, and the companyās core business interests remain under pressure.Reddit Gives Thumbs Up to Hycroft Mining PurchaseReddit seems to approve of AMCās foray into the precious metals market.Ā For many analysts, though, the investment in struggling Hycroft Mining is a headscratcher. Management seems to believe they have become experts at navigating troubled waters and coming out on the other side leaner and stronger. However, their credentials are dubious.Yes, the company is in a much better position than it was just a couple of years ago. However, this has little to do with fundamental strength. Instead, you can thank AMCās fans on Reddit for helping it stave off bankruptcy. The same fans believe that AMCās investment in a mining company makes sound financial sense since gold is a tried-and-tested store of value.Interestingly, after the great escape, the company has launched several initiatives, the most fascinating of which have to be allowing cryptocurrency purchases andĀ offering NFTs. However, its core business continues to struggle. As entertainment companies engage in streaming wars and fight for attention, there will be little to motivate the casual viewer to check out the latest releases in theaters outside perhaps the odd summer blockbuster.Selling branded popcorn could become a great revenue stream. However, it cannot take the place of the movie theater business for AMC.AMC Needs to Revamp Its BusinessThe story ofĀ NokiaĀ (NYSE:NOK) is a cautionary tale told in business classes worldwide. The company was the biggest cell phone manufacturer globally before being overtaken byĀ AppleĀ (NASDAQ:AAPL). Nokiaās downfall came from its inability to keep up with competitors like Apple, which were making better products. Nokia also made the mistake of only focusing on one type of phone instead of differentiating its product lineup.However, there should be another chapter in the works because Nokia isĀ now a growing 5G enterpriseĀ with healthy financials.AMC will need to similarly change its operations by offering a more immersive experience. This will require a lot of experimentation, but eventually could be successful.Blockbuster releases likeSpider-Man: No Way Homeare becoming rare in the post-pandemic era, and AMC needs to account for this.Launching a digital coinĀ andĀ investing in virtual realityĀ could be catalysts for future growth. Imagine watching a great art movie with friends in an amazing AMC theater from the comfort of your home in the metaverse. AMC might struggle to get people into a movie theatre for a movie likeĀ The Last Duel, but in a VR setting, perhaps consumers will be willing to give it a try.AMC Stock Is Still Too VolatileTodayās action in AMC stock likely had more than a little to do with short-sellers covering, as the percentage of shares held short is around 20% of the float. Traders certainly canāt rule out another short squeeze in the stockās future, but they also canāt rule out a sharp sell-off.Reddit adds another dimension of volatility to stocks like AMC. Because retail investors own a majority of the shares, sentiment on Reddit will continue to be more important than sentiment on Wall Street. Therefore, normal market moves are not the norm in AMC stock.With uncertainty so high, unless you are risk-tolerant, there are few incentives to invest in AMC stock.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AMC":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3471,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9019043530,"gmtCreate":1648509215948,"gmtModify":1676534346079,"author":{"id":"4110094334541012","authorId":"4110094334541012","name":"Chillichung","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/0113bee9148394d421fa1bd137c12dfe","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4110094334541012","idStr":"4110094334541012"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Well prepared the mindset before doing any investment,b patience n stay calm.","listText":"Well prepared the mindset before doing any investment,b patience n stay calm.","text":"Well prepared the mindset before doing any investment,b patience n stay calm.","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9019043530","repostId":"2222851748","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2222851748","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1648460403,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2222851748?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-28 17:40","market":"us","language":"en","title":"5 Questions to Ask Yourself in Case the Stock Market Keeps Crashing","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2222851748","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Making a plan can help you sleep at night and better prepare for volatility.","content":"<div>\n<p>The Nasdaq Composite exploded higher by 9% over just five recent trading days, pulling the index out of its brief stint in a bear market. The index remains in correction territory, but the rebound is a big reprieve. But we aren't out of the woods yet.No one knows if the market will retest its 2022 lows. What we do know is that volatility remains high, and the month of March has been chock-full of broad market gyrations with several big days to the upside and the downside.Given all the uncertainty, it's better to prepare for further downside now than be complacent and get caught off guard. Here are five questions you should ask yourself in case the stock market keeps crashing.Image source: Getty Images.1. Why are you investing?The stock market is but one playing field upon which several different games are simultaneously being played. Some folks are day trading and care nothing about fundamentals. Instead, their focus is on short-term price action and technical analysis. Others are trying to bet big on a moon shot. Some people are trying to beat the market over a multi-decade time horizon. And many folks are simply focused on capital preservation or passive income generation in retirement. There's a big difference between a Wall Street hedge fund with billions of dollars under management and an 18-year-old kid with $500 in spare cash they made over the summer.Once you begin to understand the different types of investors and their different motivations, it becomes easier to understand why stock prices can do crazy things. Put a different way, knee-jerk reactions and market volatility become less surprising.Although it can be tempting to try to time the market, the best an investor can do is be roughly right, pick good companies, keep a level head, and let the power of patience and compounding returns do their work over time. These are tools that are free to use, yet many investors ignore them in favor of gambling.2. What is your time horizon?Your investment horizon is heavily influenced by age. But it can also depend on different financial obligations or upcoming expenses. Some investors are in the asset accumulation phase, while others are in the asset distribution phase.Younger investors who still have their highest-earning years ahead of them and fewer financial obligations can afford to take risks and can use decades of portfolio growth to their advantage. Investors nearing retirement, or any period where spending may begin to outpace income, tend to be more focused on safeguarding their nest egg and protecting against downside risk. In this sense, an investor with a longer time horizon can afford to have a higher percentage of their assets in growth stocks while a retiree may be more interested in the income from stable dividend payers.3. What is your risk tolerance?Looking at a chart of stocks that beat the market over the last few decades is a simple enough exercise. But not all gains are created equal. In fact, some of the best stocks have been extremely volatile and required nerves of steel to hold during certain time periods. For example, Amazon ( AMZN 0.69% ) stock lost nearly 90% of its value in less than 18 months during the dot-com bubble burst in the early 2000s.Between Oct. 23, 2007 and Nov. 20, 2008, Amazon similarly lost 65% of its value. And then between Sept. 4, 2018 and Christmas Eve 2018, Amazon lost over a third of its value. However, even if you bought Amazon stock at its peak right before the dot-com bust on Jan. 3, 2000 and suffered through those declines, you would be sitting on a 3,500% gain as of this writing.The lesson here is to understand your temperament and risk tolerance before buying a stock. Investors who bought Amazon and panic sold missed out on some major gains. But the decision is all too clear in hindsight and never easy in the moment.4. How vulnerable are you to volatility?Exposure to volatility combines your personal investment objectives, time horizon, and risk tolerance. For example, a young investor who hates risk but is investing for the next few decades may find themselves with a higher equities allocation than a risk-tolerant investor who has some major purchases coming up or is nearing retirement.Understanding you and your family's exposure to volatility is a good exercise that can help build a portfolio that is best for you. Often, being vulnerable to volatility means taking fewer risks and allocating a higher percentage of your savings toward cash and bonds instead of stocks, even though stocks tend to outperform cash and bonds over the long term.5. What kind of investor do you want to be?Most of us have our favorite investor role models. Some gravitate toward the characters in Michael Lewis' The Big Short who correctly predicted the financial crisis and made money from it. The companyās trailing 12-month operating loss through September was 2.98 billion Chinese Yuan ($470 million). Itās expected to lose more in the fourth quarter. On March 23, NIO stock was down 31% year-to-date (YTD).If youāve followed Nio for more than a year, it shouldnāt surprise you that Nio will lose money in 2021. Analysts expect it to lose 1.03 Chinese Yuan (16 cents) per share in 2022. Thatās $264 million (based on 1.65 billion American depositary shares), which means its losses have probably plateaued.Investors should expect profits in 2023.However, even though the business looks like its pathway to profitability is moving ahead, any negative surprises when it reports will likely knock its shares into the teens, where it traded in early March.Despite the fact I believe Nioās got an excellent future, I would wait until after Nio reports Q4 2021 results to buy Nio stock.As Iāve said in the past, if a stock is destined for glory, buying after itās jumped on positive news wonāt be a bad thing in the long run.Hereās why investors should keep their dry powder ready.Nio Will Soon Have Four VehiclesDeliveries for the companyās ET7 sedan are expected to start in China on March 28. That would be Nioās fourth vehicle after the ES8, ES6, and EC6. In the first two months of 2022, Nio sold 2,615 ES8, 8,556 ES6, and 4,612 EC6. Thatās 15,783 vehicles, 23.3% higher than a year earlier.The ES8 is already on sale in Norway, and according to InsideEVs, itās already launched its first battery swap station in the country. So itās only a matter of time before Europe is crawling with Nioās.Thanks to the launch of the ET7, Credit Suisse analyst Bun Wang predicts that Nio will deliver 150,000 units in 2022, 64% higher than in 2021. The ET7 will have a big part to play in this growth.Despite having four vehicles in play, investors continue to have a negative view of the companyās stock. NIO is down almost 40% year-to-date.There are a couple of reasons for investor skepticism.First, inflation has hit EV companies. The price of metals that go into EV batteries are up 60% in 2022. Thatās going to delay Nioās pathway to profitability. The second problem is that U.S. investors donāt want to buy Nio shares in New York if itās only delisted down the road because of poor relations with China.Nio can only play the cards itās dealt. But, so far, itās doing a darn good job.Analysts Really Like Nio StockOn March 21, according to Barronās, Deutsche Bank (NYSE:DB) analyst Edison Yu had this to say about Nio in a note to clients leading up to its Q4 2021 earnings:The ātide may finally be turning,ā wrote Yu. āWhile volumes have stagnated over the past few quarters due to operational bottlenecks, we think deliveries are on track to increase from [10,000 a month to 25,000] exiting the year which will shift the narrative away from supply constraints to product cycleāThe reality is that more than 90% of the analysts covering NIO stock rate it a āBuy.ā The average for the S&P 500 is just 58%. Further, the average target price for Nio is $50, more than double where it currently trades.NIO stock has been trading so poorly in 2022 that Yu cut his price target by $20 for Nio to $50. His target price is about the average of the consensus estimate.On March 10, InvestorPlaceās Mark Hake suggested Nio stock could be worth at least $33.72 based on its sales forecasts. Hake points out that NIO trades for just 3x the analyst estimate for 2022 sales, about one-third the price-to-sales multiple of Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA). As a result, Hake believes Nio should be valued at more than $50 billion.Iām with my InvestorPlace colleague. Regardless of what analysts think, NIO stock is cheap right now.Nioās Growth Versus TeslaI donāt think thereās any doubt that TSLA stock should be valued more than Nio.However, Nio is expected to have sales of $5.61 billion in 2021 and $9.93 billion in 2022. Tesla had annualized sales of $9.93 billion sometime in fiscal 2017. In June 2017, TSLA stock was trading at $72. Based on 169 million shares outstanding, Tesla had a market capitalization of $12.2 billion or 1.2x sales.Now, you might look at that and think that Nioās overvalued. However, Tesla was losing a lot more money than Nio, not to mention EVs werenāt nearly as popular with consumers as they are today.Where This Leaves Nio StockWeāve seen an uptick in EV interest since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war has driven oil prices through the roof. Americans are starting to realize that the move to electric probably isnāt such a bad idea after all.Companies like Nio ensure the world never has to rely on Russia to power our transportation. Thatās a good thing.Despite my enthusiasm for NIO stock, I would wait for the results before buying. You never know how investors will react to its report. If it drops under $20, be sure to get some.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"NIO":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":921,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9037645226,"gmtCreate":1648100777852,"gmtModify":1676534304421,"author":{"id":"4110094334541012","authorId":"4110094334541012","name":"Chillichung","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/0113bee9148394d421fa1bd137c12dfe","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4110094334541012","idStr":"4110094334541012"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"An apple a day ,keep doctors away~keep it up šššš","listText":"An apple a day ,keep doctors away~keep it up šššš","text":"An apple a day ,keep doctors away~keep it up šššš","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9037645226","repostId":"2221049780","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2221049780","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1648086859,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2221049780?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-24 09:54","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Why Apple Stock Looks Tasty Wednesday","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2221049780","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Two Wall Street analysts have only nice things to say about it.","content":"<div>\n<p>What happenedShares of tech giant AppleĀ were off to the races Wednesday, bucking the trendĀ toĀ rose nearlyĀ 1% as of closeing, most likely thanks to an upbeat note from investment bank Wedbush this ...</p>\n\n<a href=\"https://www.fool.com/investing/2022/03/23/why-apple-stock-looks-tasty-today/\">Source Link</a>\n\n</div>\n","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"<!DOCTYPE html>\n<html>\n<head>\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; And that's on top of a prediction that the company will sell 30 million new 5G-capable iPhone SEs this year.For what it's worth, investment bank J.P. Morgan seems to mostly agree. In a separate note, it points to \"incremental datapoints [that] support our positive outlook for iPhone 13 demand into [calendar year 2022],\" to back up its own overweight rating and $210 price target on Apple.Now whatAnd 2022 could be only the start of the good news.Peering deeper than usual into its crystal ball (Wall Street analysts usually only forecast 12 months out), Wedbush predicts that Apple's \"monster\" growth cycle will continue over the next 12 to 18 months. Thus, this rally could potentially extend all the way into late 2023, a likelihood that Wedbush does not believe has yet been \"baked into shares at current levels.\"I'm inclined to agree. Both stocks are now under $20 compared to all-time intraday highs of $64.60 for Nio and $24.37 for Ford.Here's why Nio and Ford are two electric vehicle (EV) stocks worth considering now.A transitional yearHoward SmithĀ (Nio): Nio's American depositary shares recently dropped below $15 for the first time since the summer of 2020. At that point in time, Nio had just surpassed its 50,000th delivery of an electric car. By the end of February 2022, the company had delivered more than 182,000 vehicles.Demand remains strong enough for the company, along with its state-owned manufacturing partner, to more than double production capacity to up to 300,000 vehicles per year. Part of the reason it that the company has new products coming this year.Its ET7 luxury sedan is due to begin shipping this month, followed by the smaller ET5 sedan later in the fall. Nio is also expanding outside of China. Europe is expected to be one of the largest EV markets globally, and the company has already established a presence there.In a further sign of its expansion plans outside of China, Nio reportedly has a new agreement with the state-owned China National Technical Import and Export Corporation to pursue the construction of EV infrastructure and support services in overseas markets, according to industry follower CnEVPost.The report says the agreement will focus on Europe to \"provide solutions for the export, installation, commissioning, and delivery of Nio's battery swap stations.\" Those swap stations allow Nio customers to purchase vehicles with lower up-front costs along with a subscription plan for battery replacements at the swap stations. The company says it takes only minutes, and is another form of income for Nio as it works to grow its customer base.While risks related to both the business and outside factors have driven Nio shares to a multi-year low, some investors might feel those risks are now priced in, making it a good time to consider buying the stock.Both of Ford's business units have their advantagesDaniel FoelberĀ (Ford): Like most EV stocks, Ford has been absolutely hammered in recent weeks. We aren't even through the first three months of the year, and the stock has already climbed as high as $24.37 per share and as low as $15.51.Due to heightened market volatility and Ford's heavy investment in the EV industry, it could continue to be a volatile stock. However, investors would be better-suited turning their attention to Ford's long-term future, which is brighter than ever before.On March 2, Ford announced it was splitting its business into two divisions: the Model e division, which will focus on EVs; and the Blue division, which will be responsible for Ford's legacy internal combustion engine (ICE) business. The business units are expected to work in tandem, with Ford Blue supplying the bulk of the profit to support Ford Model e, which is expected to contribute the majority of Ford's long-term growth.Ford is an attractive automotive stock because it is already profitable and is less vulnerable to short-term supply chain challenges that have stunted the growth of other automakers like Lucid Group and Rivian Automotive and resulted in unsustainable cash burn.Ford also pays a quarterly dividend of $0.10 per share for an annualized yield of 2.5%, which makes it one of the few electric car stocks that is also a worthy dividend stock. And to top it all off, it's not expensive relative to its earnings and growth rate.Lastly, Ford has been much more vocal than its competitors when it comes to making sizable EV investments early and setting short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals. It expects to produce 600,000 EVs per year by the end of 2023 and more than 2 million EVs per year by 2026. By 2030, it aims to have EVs represent half of its global production volume, which is higher than its earlier estimate for them to make up 40% of global volume by that year.By setting a variety of goals with different time horizons, investors are able to hold Ford accountable and better track its progress, which is better than companies that only have vague 2030 or 2050 goals with little to no clarification of how those goals will be achieved.Add it all up, and Ford stands out as the single most-balanced automaker to buy now.A low entry pointFor less than $20, an investor can pick up a share of Nio or Ford and become a part owner in an exciting business.One of the advantages of being an individual investor is that you get to decide the timing and extent of your exposure to a company. Lower nominally-priced stocks like Nio and Ford make it easier to gradually accumulate shares to make sure a position doesn't become overweight in a portfolio.Nio and Ford have both drummed up healthy demand for their EV products. But both companies still need to prove their models are good enough to stand the test of time, especially as competition heats up in the EV industry.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"F":0.9,"NIO":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":888,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9034426514,"gmtCreate":1647951508187,"gmtModify":1676534283720,"author":{"id":"4110094334541012","authorId":"4110094334541012","name":"Chillichung","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/0113bee9148394d421fa1bd137c12dfe","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4110094334541012","idStr":"4110094334541012"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Good to know about those info~learn a lots!","listText":"Good to know about those info~learn a lots!","text":"Good to know about those info~learn a lots!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9034426514","repostId":"1150453839","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1150453839","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1647962880,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1150453839?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-22 23:28","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Want $1 Million In Retirement? Because they have a longer investment time horizon, they can afford to take chances on great stocks offering a high potential for long-term returns than older investors who are looking to buy stocks that are safer but invariably offer lower potential returns.Fortunately, many promisingĀ tech stocksĀ hold the potential to increase their value by tenfold over time. Investors hoping to turn $100,000 into $1 million over the next 10 years could see such potential returns inĀ Block,Ā DigitalOcean, andĀ Roku.1. BlockBlock has placed itself at the center of fintech in many developed countries. Its business-oriented Square ecosystem and its Cash App continue to grow by expanding into new markets and broadening its scope of business within existing countries.Block just entered its eighth country early this year by bringing its ecosystem into Spain. Now, due to its presence in three EU countries, the company once known as Square has an easier path to serving the rest of the Eurozone.Moreover, it added cryptocurrency capabilities with itsĀ BitcoinĀ trading platform in both Square and Cash App. This likely helped it almost catch up toĀ PayPal Holdings' Venmo in terms of popularity. Also, according to Research and Markets, the addressable market for fintech is expected to reach $31.5 trillion by 2026, a 27% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) that should bring opportunities for lots of companies in this sector, including Square.Block increased its 2021 revenue by 86% compared with 2020, 57% if excluding Bitcoin. This led to adjusted earnings of $898 million in the same period, 111% higher than year-ago levels. Analysts only expect 7% revenue growth in 2022 before it rebounds to 22% the next year.Still, the stock has lost more than half of its value since its peak last summer. With a price-to-sales (P/S) ratio of about 4, it has fallen from the double-digit sales multiples of early last year. This makes it more reasonably priced as Block seeks to meet the financial needs of more businesses and individuals.2. DigitalOceanAt first glance, companies such asĀ AmazonĀ andĀ MicrosoftĀ dominate the cloud industry and cater their services to lots of big names. However, their product offerings are not really catered to the specific needs of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). DigitalOcean has built a high-growth enterprise by filling that gap. But while it offers simple, affordable pricing plans tailored to the needs of SMEs, its most vital advantage seems to lie in its community. Members of this community give and receive advice, helping these businesses resolve IT challenges that might otherwise hamper smaller enterprises.Also, DigitalOcean already claims about 600,000 customers in 185 countries. and the cloud market should also leave plenty of room for company growth. Grand View Research estimates the cloud infrastructure market will grow to $1.55 trillion by 2030, up from $484 billion today.DigitalOcean's 2021 revenue of $429 million makes up only a tiny fraction of that addressable market, though that was a 35% increase compared with 2020. Moreover, it cut its yearly loss to about $20 million, down from $44 million in 2020. Furthermore, revenue estimates for between $564 million and $568 million amount to 32% growth if the estimate holds, pointing to little if any slowdowns.Additionally, the stock has dropped 55% from its November high, taking its P/S ratio down to around 13. While this is higher than its larger competitors, a lower stock price and rapid revenue growth rate should take this stock much higher as the need for the cloud within SMEs continues to expand.3. RokuRoku has managed to capitalize on the transition of televised media to streaming. Through its aggregation of services and the offering of its Roku platform and channel, it provides an avenue by which companies can fund programming through advertising.Furthermore, Roku continues its expansion into Europe and Latin America, giving it leverage as companies likeĀ AlphabetĀ attempt to compete. Additionally, the company has integrated its operating system into new televisions and offered its equipment at a low cost, easing the adoption of its platform.Roku claimed about 60 million users as of the end of 2021. Also, Research and Markets forecasts that the global digital advertising market will grow to $764 billion by 2025 and to $1.45 trillion by 2030 for a CAGR of 13.7%. Roku appears well-positioned to capture much of this increase as it currently only operates in roughly 20 countries and has plans for further expansion.So far, Roku has barely begun to scratch the surface of its potential. In 2021, it generated almost $2.8 billion in revenue, 55% more than in 2020. The revenue growth helped the company earn $242 million in net income, an improvement from the $18 million loss in 2020.Admittedly, the first-quarter outlook for 25% year-over-year revenue growth represents a slowdown.Ā Still, the stock has fallen by about 75% from its high last July. The index remains in correction territory, but the rebound is a big reprieve. But we aren't out of the woods yet.No one knows if the market will retest its 2022 lows. What we do know is that volatility remains high, and the month of March has been chock-full of broad market gyrations with several big days to the upside and the downside.Given all the uncertainty, it's better to prepare for further downside now than be complacent and get caught off guard. Here are five questions you should ask yourself in case the stock market keeps crashing.Image source: Getty Images.1. Why are you investing?The stock market is but one playing field upon which several different games are simultaneously being played. Some folks are day trading and care nothing about fundamentals. Instead, their focus is on short-term price action and technical analysis. Others are trying to bet big on a moon shot. Some people are trying to beat the market over a multi-decade time horizon. And many folks are simply focused on capital preservation or passive income generation in retirement. There's a big difference between a Wall Street hedge fund with billions of dollars under management and an 18-year-old kid with $500 in spare cash they made over the summer.Once you begin to understand the different types of investors and their different motivations, it becomes easier to understand why stock prices can do crazy things. Put a different way, knee-jerk reactions and market volatility become less surprising.Although it can be tempting to try to time the market, the best an investor can do is be roughly right, pick good companies, keep a level head, and let the power of patience and compounding returns do their work over time. These are tools that are free to use, yet many investors ignore them in favor of gambling.2. What is your time horizon?Your investment horizon is heavily influenced by age. But it can also depend on different financial obligations or upcoming expenses. Some investors are in the asset accumulation phase, while others are in the asset distribution phase.Younger investors who still have their highest-earning years ahead of them and fewer financial obligations can afford to take risks and can use decades of portfolio growth to their advantage. Investors nearing retirement, or any period where spending may begin to outpace income, tend to be more focused on safeguarding their nest egg and protecting against downside risk. In this sense, an investor with a longer time horizon can afford to have a higher percentage of their assets in growth stocks while a retiree may be more interested in the income from stable dividend payers.3. What is your risk tolerance?Looking at a chart of stocks that beat the market over the last few decades is a simple enough exercise. But not all gains are created equal. In fact, some of the best stocks have been extremely volatile and required nerves of steel to hold during certain time periods. For example, Amazon ( AMZN 0.69% ) stock lost nearly 90% of its value in less than 18 months during the dot-com bubble burst in the early 2000s.Between Oct. 23, 2007 and Nov. 20, 2008, Amazon similarly lost 65% of its value. And then between Sept. 4, 2018 and Christmas Eve 2018, Amazon lost over a third of its value. However, even if you bought Amazon stock at its peak right before the dot-com bust on Jan. 3, 2000 and suffered through those declines, you would be sitting on a 3,500% gain as of this writing.The lesson here is to understand your temperament and risk tolerance before buying a stock. Investors who bought Amazon and panic sold missed out on some major gains. But the decision is all too clear in hindsight and never easy in the moment.4. How vulnerable are you to volatility?Exposure to volatility combines your personal investment objectives, time horizon, and risk tolerance. For example, a young investor who hates risk but is investing for the next few decades may find themselves with a higher equities allocation than a risk-tolerant investor who has some major purchases coming up or is nearing retirement.Understanding you and your family's exposure to volatility is a good exercise that can help build a portfolio that is best for you. Often, being vulnerable to volatility means taking fewer risks and allocating a higher percentage of your savings toward cash and bonds instead of stocks, even though stocks tend to outperform cash and bonds over the long term.5. What kind of investor do you want to be?Most of us have our favorite investor role models. Some gravitate toward the characters in Michael Lewis' The Big Short who correctly predicted the financial crisis and made money from it. Others appreciate Peter Lynch's grassroots style or Warren Buffett's patience and wry wisdom. Some folks want to be gunslingers and take bold bets. Others want to stick to what they know and invest in a way that helps them sleep well at night.At The Motley Fool, we try to foster principles that will give you upside potential, encourage creativity, and provide you with an overall balanced approach. By doing your own research and keeping a diversified portfolio that blends long-term upside with proven winners, you can structure your investments in a way that suits your style.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{".IXIC":0.9,".SPX":0.9,".DJI":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":4338,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9010548947,"gmtCreate":1648433580309,"gmtModify":1676534337480,"author":{"id":"4110094334541012","authorId":"4110094334541012","name":"Chillichung","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/0113bee9148394d421fa1bd137c12dfe","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4110094334541012","authorIdStr":"4110094334541012"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Looking Entertainment(AMC) stock has climbed back above $30 per share.Chalk the rally up to a resurgence of the buzz about AMC and other meme stocks onĀ Reddit.If you own AMC, sell it because its new investment isnāt thrilling, and the shares remain overvalued.After AMC soared 66% in the past week, it may seem like the story is far from over forĀ AMC Entertainment(NYSE:AMC). Yet as with the previous times in recent months that AMC stock has spiked, expect its recent move back above $30 per share to be short-lived.The rally by AMC and the stock market have inspired many meme-stock investors to dive back into AMC. But these new developments do not do much to bolster the stockās outlook, and a recent investment by the company is hardly the ābig dealā that some seem to believe it is.Meanwhile, the resurgence in the bullishness towards AMC stock among investors may not last. Some of the previous uncertainty about the Fedās rate hikesĀ may be easing. Still, other worries, including the possibility of a recession, may cause stocks to ultimately fall. Such a decline would result in meme plays like AMC falling more quickly than the overall market.Thatās particularly true because AMC stock continues to trade at a high premium to its underlying value. Donāt get tricked by its latest move higher. In time, the latest surge will likely prove to be little more than a ādead cat bounce.āWhy AMC Stock Has Bounced BackAs I mentioned above, multiple factors are behind AMCās jump from around $16 to more than $20 per share in recent days. First is the factor that has sparked the most headlines: the companyĀ announced that it plans to buy22% ofHycroft Mining Holding Corporation(NASDAQ:HYMC).Secondly, the stock market has performed well since mid-March. The marketās resurgence kicked off following Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powellās latest remarks on the central bankās rate-hike plans. Clearing up some of the uncertainty, the chairmanās statements have helped to lessen some of theĀ investorsā pessimism towards the market. Unfortunately, both of these factors will only temporarily impact the price of AMC stock.But there are important reasons to believe that the market has not yet bottomed. Specifically, we know for sure that further rate hikes are coming, and that the chances of a recession have risen.If a recession is indeed in the cards, the relief rally will fade, and stocks will move lower. This will likely reverse AMCās recent gains and quite possibly send it even lower, as a recession isnāt just bad for the stock, but for the companyās business as well.AMCās Business Continues to Flounder, and the Hycroft Deal Wonāt Save the DayA recession would undermine AMC stock in two ways. First, if an economic downturn does occur, the stock market will sink. And as we saw in the first 2.5 months of the year, when the stock market retreats, meme plays like AMC underperform.Additionally, a recession will, of course, mean that the American economy is contracting. During the current economic expansion, robust consumer spending has helped AMCās business partially recover from the pandemic. Yet with inflation at 40-year highs, consumer spending isĀ already starting to slip,and an economic downturn would cause household spending to decline further.Even worse for AMC, streamingās popularity could increase further and take more market share from theaters, as more movie fans opt to save money by watching new flicks at home. The resulting impact on AMCās performance will outweigh the limited gains that it will generate from its Hycroft investment.Speaking of Hycroft, as anotherInvestorPlacecolumnist, Dana Blankenhorn, recently put it,Ā all that glitters is not goldĀ when it comes to this deal. While Hycroft, a junior miner, is sitting on a gold mine (both literally and figuratively), thereās a reason why HYMC stock is a small-cap penny stock.Itās going to take far more cash than AMCās investment or the proceeds from anĀ at-the-market secondary offeringĀ for Hycroft to extract the tens of billions of dollars of hard-to-reach gold and silver that are supposed to be in its northern Nevada mine. A payoff from AMCās investment in the miner is years away at best and will never arrive at worst.The Takeaway From AMCās Recent RallyAs I argued back in February, theĀ fair value of AMC is less than $10. And thatās assuming that it continues to deliver results in -line with its Q4 earnings. An economic downturn will push the shares closer to their fair value and lower that fair value as belt-tightening among consumers will stymie its post-virus recovery.So what should investors do with AMC stock after its latest surge? Those who own the shares should exploit the stockās rally by selling them. And those who donāt own a position in the shares should stay away from them.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AMC":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3900,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9019857785,"gmtCreate":1648592428847,"gmtModify":1676534357279,"author":{"id":"4110094334541012","authorId":"4110094334541012","name":"Chillichung","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/0113bee9148394d421fa1bd137c12dfe","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4110094334541012","authorIdStr":"4110094334541012"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Keeping an eye on it~","listText":"Keeping an eye on it~","text":"Keeping an eye on it~","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9019857785","repostId":"1120016829","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1120016829","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1648539903,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1120016829?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-29 15:45","market":"us","language":"en","title":"AMC Stock Springs Back to Life, but Buyer Beware","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1120016829","media":"InvestorPlace","summary":"Investors (and probably some short sellers) bid AMC stock up 45% in one day","content":"<div>\n<p>AMC Entertainment HoldingĀ (NYSE:AMC) is again making waves. In the past two weeks, AMC stock has more than doubled, including a 45% single-day jump Monday. Itās important to note that the recent rally is not because of fundamental strength, but rather becauseĀ RedditĀ investors are actively trading the stock once again.That is not to say the company hasnātĀ made some interesting movesĀ recently. For instance, it invested in embattled gold and silver minerĀ Hycroft MiningĀ (NASDAQ:HYMC), which is also a Reddit favorite. And todayās blastoff followed aĀ ReutersĀ interviewĀ in which Chief Executive Adam Aron said investors should expect more ātransformationalā deals in the companyās future.Meanwhile, a slate of superhero blockbusters has saved the day for AMC. However, barring a few tentpole releases, there is not much to see regarding box office numbers, and the companyās core business interests remain under pressure.Reddit Gives Thumbs Up to Hycroft Mining PurchaseReddit seems to approve of AMCās foray into the precious metals market.Ā For many analysts, though, the investment in struggling Hycroft Mining is a headscratcher. Management seems to believe they have become experts at navigating troubled waters and coming out on the other side leaner and stronger. However, their credentials are dubious.Yes, the company is in a much better position than it was just a couple of years ago. However, this has little to do with fundamental strength. Instead, you can thank AMCās fans on Reddit for helping it stave off bankruptcy. The same fans believe that AMCās investment in a mining company makes sound financial sense since gold is a tried-and-tested store of value.Interestingly, after the great escape, the company has launched several initiatives, the most fascinating of which have to be allowing cryptocurrency purchases andĀ offering NFTs. However, its core business continues to struggle. As entertainment companies engage in streaming wars and fight for attention, there will be little to motivate the casual viewer to check out the latest releases in theaters outside perhaps the odd summer blockbuster.Selling branded popcorn could become a great revenue stream. However, it cannot take the place of the movie theater business for AMC.AMC Needs to Revamp Its BusinessThe story ofĀ NokiaĀ (NYSE:NOK) is a cautionary tale told in business classes worldwide. The company was the biggest cell phone manufacturer globally before being overtaken byĀ AppleĀ (NASDAQ:AAPL). Nokiaās downfall came from its inability to keep up with competitors like Apple, which were making better products. Nokia also made the mistake of only focusing on one type of phone instead of differentiating its product lineup.However, there should be another chapter in the works because Nokia isĀ now a growing 5G enterpriseĀ with healthy financials.AMC will need to similarly change its operations by offering a more immersive experience. This will require a lot of experimentation, but eventually could be successful.Blockbuster releases likeSpider-Man: No Way Homeare becoming rare in the post-pandemic era, and AMC needs to account for this.Launching a digital coinĀ andĀ investing in virtual realityĀ could be catalysts for future growth. Imagine watching a great art movie with friends in an amazing AMC theater from the comfort of your home in the metaverse. AMC might struggle to get people into a movie theatre for a movie likeĀ The Last Duel, but in a VR setting, perhaps consumers will be willing to give it a try.AMC Stock Is Still Too VolatileTodayās action in AMC stock likely had more than a little to do with short-sellers covering, as the percentage of shares held short is around 20% of the float. Traders certainly canāt rule out another short squeeze in the stockās future, but they also canāt rule out a sharp sell-off.Reddit adds another dimension of volatility to stocks like AMC. Because retail investors own a majority of the shares, sentiment on Reddit will continue to be more important than sentiment on Wall Street. Therefore, normal market moves are not the norm in AMC stock.With uncertainty so high, unless you are risk-tolerant, there are few incentives to invest in AMC stock.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AMC":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3471,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":200500350881808,"gmtCreate":1689981045747,"gmtModify":1689981049422,"author":{"id":"4110094334541012","authorId":"4110094334541012","name":"Chillichung","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/0113bee9148394d421fa1bd137c12dfe","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4110094334541012","authorIdStr":"4110094334541012"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Looking forward to it","listText":"Looking forward to it","text":"Looking forward to it","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/200500350881808","repostId":"1180702752","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1180702752","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1689950426,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1180702752?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2023-07-21 22:40","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Apple Wants to Crash ChatGPT's Party - Here's Why It Just Might Succeed","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1180702752","media":"The Street","summary":"$Apple(AAPL)$has always striven to set itself apart from its peers. And that's on top of a prediction that the company will sell 30 million new 5G-capable iPhone SEs this year.For what it's worth, investment bank J.P. Morgan seems to mostly agree. In a separate note, it points to \"incremental datapoints [that] support our positive outlook for iPhone 13 demand into [calendar year 2022],\" to back up its own overweight rating and $210 price target on Apple.Now whatAnd 2022 could be only the start of the good news.Peering deeper than usual into its crystal ball (Wall Street analysts usually only forecast 12 months out), Wedbush predicts that Apple's \"monster\" growth cycle will continue over the next 12 to 18 months. Thus, this rally could potentially extend all the way into late 2023, a likelihood that Wedbush does not believe has yet been \"baked into shares at current levels.\"I'm inclined to agree. At 25.6 times earnings, Apple stock doesn't cost much more than the average company in the S&P 500, which costs 25.5 times earnings. Apple, however, is anything but an average company. Its stock price probably deserves to go higher.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AAPL":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2058,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9034426514,"gmtCreate":1647951508187,"gmtModify":1676534283720,"author":{"id":"4110094334541012","authorId":"4110094334541012","name":"Chillichung","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/0113bee9148394d421fa1bd137c12dfe","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4110094334541012","authorIdStr":"4110094334541012"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Good to know about those info~learn a lots!","listText":"Good to know about those info~learn a lots!","text":"Good to know about those info~learn a lots!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9034426514","repostId":"1150453839","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1150453839","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1647962880,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1150453839?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-22 23:28","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Want $1 Million In Retirement? Because they have a longer investment time horizon, they can afford to take chances on great stocks offering a high potential for long-term returns than older investors who are looking to buy stocks that are safer but invariably offer lower potential returns.Fortunately, many promisingĀ tech stocksĀ hold the potential to increase their value by tenfold over time. Investors hoping to turn $100,000 into $1 million over the next 10 years could see such potential returns inĀ Block,Ā DigitalOcean, andĀ Roku.1. BlockBlock has placed itself at the center of fintech in many developed countries. Its business-oriented Square ecosystem and its Cash App continue to grow by expanding into new markets and broadening its scope of business within existing countries.Block just entered its eighth country early this year by bringing its ecosystem into Spain. Now, due to its presence in three EU countries, the company once known as Square has an easier path to serving the rest of the Eurozone.Moreover, it added cryptocurrency capabilities with itsĀ BitcoinĀ trading platform in both Square and Cash App. This likely helped it almost catch up toĀ PayPal Holdings' Venmo in terms of popularity. Also, according to Research and Markets, the addressable market for fintech is expected to reach $31.5 trillion by 2026, a 27% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) that should bring opportunities for lots of companies in this sector, including Square.Block increased its 2021 revenue by 86% compared with 2020, 57% if excluding Bitcoin. This led to adjusted earnings of $898 million in the same period, 111% higher than year-ago levels. Analysts only expect 7% revenue growth in 2022 before it rebounds to 22% the next year.Still, the stock has lost more than half of its value since its peak last summer. With a price-to-sales (P/S) ratio of about 4, it has fallen from the double-digit sales multiples of early last year. This makes it more reasonably priced as Block seeks to meet the financial needs of more businesses and individuals.2. DigitalOceanAt first glance, companies such asĀ AmazonĀ andĀ MicrosoftĀ dominate the cloud industry and cater their services to lots of big names. However, their product offerings are not really catered to the specific needs of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). DigitalOcean has built a high-growth enterprise by filling that gap. But while it offers simple, affordable pricing plans tailored to the needs of SMEs, its most vital advantage seems to lie in its community. Members of this community give and receive advice, helping these businesses resolve IT challenges that might otherwise hamper smaller enterprises.Also, DigitalOcean already claims about 600,000 customers in 185 countries. and the cloud market should also leave plenty of room for company growth. Grand View Research estimates the cloud infrastructure market will grow to $1.55 trillion by 2030, up from $484 billion today.DigitalOcean's 2021 revenue of $429 million makes up only a tiny fraction of that addressable market, though that was a 35% increase compared with 2020. Moreover, it cut its yearly loss to about $20 million, down from $44 million in 2020. Furthermore, revenue estimates for between $564 million and $568 million amount to 32% growth if the estimate holds, pointing to little if any slowdowns.Additionally, the stock has dropped 55% from its November high, taking its P/S ratio down to around 13. While this is higher than its larger competitors, a lower stock price and rapid revenue growth rate should take this stock much higher as the need for the cloud within SMEs continues to expand.3. RokuRoku has managed to capitalize on the transition of televised media to streaming. Through its aggregation of services and the offering of its Roku platform and channel, it provides an avenue by which companies can fund programming through advertising.Furthermore, Roku continues its expansion into Europe and Latin America, giving it leverage as companies likeĀ AlphabetĀ attempt to compete. Additionally, the company has integrated its operating system into new televisions and offered its equipment at a low cost, easing the adoption of its platform.Roku claimed about 60 million users as of the end of 2021. Also, Research and Markets forecasts that the global digital advertising market will grow to $764 billion by 2025 and to $1.45 trillion by 2030 for a CAGR of 13.7%. Roku appears well-positioned to capture much of this increase as it currently only operates in roughly 20 countries and has plans for further expansion.So far, Roku has barely begun to scratch the surface of its potential. In 2021, it generated almost $2.8 billion in revenue, 55% more than in 2020. The revenue growth helped the company earn $242 million in net income, an improvement from the $18 million loss in 2020.Admittedly, the first-quarter outlook for 25% year-over-year revenue growth represents a slowdown.Ā Still, the stock has fallen by about 75% from its high last July. Also, the P/S ratio now stands at six, down from 33 last February. These factors should more than price in the revenue growth slowdown into the stock, makingĀ Roku stock a buy now.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"SQ":0.9,"DOCN":0.9,"ROKU":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1066,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"lives":[]}
