Trying to pick the turning piont is probably wishful thinking. However, I am in the belief we must be closer to the bottom than the top given how far back the market has come. I would be surprised if in 3 months time we are below where we are today. The question to answer is where the low piont sits I guess.
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ How distracted is The big boss and execs now with other projects?? I think the crypto world changes happening right now will require some cash to be freed up and will require the sale of more tesla shares. The debt arrangements for buying Twitter may be interesting to see if we ever get visibility??
$Rocket Lab USA, Huge change over one month in the stock price. Great to see a successful launch from USA with lots more potential coming in the rest of the year. Truly awesome company.
2022 was a rough year for sure. The worst performer I had was without a doubt core scientific down a solid 99%. Hard to beat that but the other great performers shouldn't be measured on share price reduction/increase but ability to accumulate quality companies at cheaper prices. I count a reduction of 30-40% as a win. Many great companies that are still at great prices. Measuring the value purchased and quantity of shares purchased is the better measure than % increase. Especially as I am investing on a 5 year time horizon. Top stable performers $John Deere(DE)$ and $Caterpillar(CAT)$ which had small buying opportunities during the year. Top accumulators
$Rocket Lab USA, Inc.(RKLB)$undervalued and launches are scheduled from nz next monthbefore the 1st usa based launch from their new usa based pad in December.
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$However, I am willing to bet that the price will go up before I have the chance to buy at a lower price. I can't understand why the market goes up the day before each payday in a downward market. It's a good argument both for and against dca eg Murphys law. Dammed if you do and dammed if you don't in this market.
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$vs $Ford(F)$ Profit $3.3b vs Loss $827M Cyber truck vs f150 lightning Factories cranking vs supply chain problems Prices down vs Price increases Who is Winning vs losing. Tesla has just announced price reductions in China upsetting existing customers. It's not good business to have upset customers so should this sound as a warning. Is this a cannery in the mine of future problems coming their way?? Tesla have said the factory overheads are reduced so can lower costs but is this a price war in china? Meanwhile ford is continuing to sell plenty of existing ice vehicles at a significantly lower PE compared to Tesla. However, musk has big talk for the futu
