$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares(SOXL)$ Different kind of manipulation than the usual, with probing raids on MU (not holding it directly, but I did pick up MUU a few weeks back during the deep dips) that just wouldn't buckle. A much more serious raid on SNDK (again, no direct position, but I grabbed several thousand SNXX in the 9s to 11s, and foolishly didn't trim any at 19 a couple of weeks ago), which was clearly manufactured, and the recovery in SNDK and SNXX was genuinely impressive. NVDA never played along with the script the SOXL/SOXS manipulators had set for it. There was clearly a lot of effort put into driving things down recently. The SNXX action was hilariously entertaining, worth a look
$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares(SOXL)$ 117.11Up 1.43, or 1.3%, and really moving now. It covered almost the entire day session range from the 112.25 low, then rallied $5 through VWAP to the top of the range. I wish I had bought more on the VWAP break. I keep getting fooled by how slow it trades during the day, and I wasn't expecting this kind of move, but it's nice to see. Trimming some here and holding some in case it wants to push toward 120 tonight.
$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares(SOXL)$ A lot of self-proclaimed experts keep telling people to sell semis. I have been around this market longer than at least 80 percent of them. Bubbles can run much longer and much further than most expect. I think new highs are coming by December-March. There will probably be at least one more big volatility pullback along the way, but this is not over yet.
$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares(SOXL)$ 116.91SKHY up 5.76, or 5.2%, and it is running hard into the close again, which is dragging the other memory chip names higher with it. DRAM and related 2X ETFs are moving up faster than SOXL. That was the best overnight play, but I am not a fan of the memory chip stocks themselves, and I would rather just use them to trade SOXL. SKHY has added $9 during the overnight session to $159.78, and it looks like it has its own short squeeze going. It initially dropped on news that it could not reach a wage deal with workers, but that turned out to be a bear trap, because it has been rallying hard since then. The overnight session has been much better than the day session for chips.
$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares(SOXL)$ Any chance this hits $127-128 Monday? I have a ton of $125 strike calls expiring 8/26 that are in negative. It has tested the $117 support three times already. I was hoping for a slight push Monday morning since it always seems to crash after the open. Any positive thoughts? I know it is a risky bet and it was dumb, but I am already in it so please don't tell me the obvious. If you could guide on a strategy to get out of it, that is what I want to hear.
$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares(SOXL)$ One more positive session. Shanghai closed in the green. At this point it feels like the same tone could carry over to Sensex and Europe. VIX has been left behind for now. Cheers.
$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares(SOXL)$ This stock has a shot at reaching $140. The manipulation here is on another level. At some point I think it just breaks out of this choppy action and runs to $300, but before that there will probably be a lot of back-and-forth to shake out retail investors. People who understand the trend and demand will do well, and others will just lose.
$iShares Semiconductor ETF(SOXX)$ $Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares(SOXL)$ Today's action was pretty telling. Semis got hit hard early, but then recovered around 50% by the close, while the rest of the market moved higher. There was no real reason for semis to drop that sharply at the open, other than what looks like a big manipulation play. With Asian markets starting off positive, I do expect a meaningful recovery in the next session.
$CoreWeave, Inc.(CRWV)$ CRWV has been building pressure for months, like a volcano with quiet rumblings under the surface and heat rising in the backlog. Some investors keep staring at the mountain and convincing themselves nothing is happening, ignoring the Q2 signals. But that is how volcanoes behave before they erupt. When CRWV does break out, it won't be a small move — it could be a full-force expansion in margins and revenue that catches the skeptics off guard. A remarkable put option crash should be a concern for shorts. Of course, just my opinion.
