Trump Says Unaware of Reported $1.2bn Crypto Gains

In a CNBC interview on Thursday, President Trump said he was unaware of crypto investments that his latest financial disclosure shows generated about $1.2bn for him last year. He said his business affairs are managed by his sons, naming Eric as responsible, and that he did not know who handled the investments and had not discussed them with Eric.
Trump added the gains were not illegal and said there is no practical requirement to recuse from every potential personal conflict while running the country.
