SpaceX extend gains, rising over 8% in overnight trading. SpaceX has raised $85.7 billion in its U.S. initial public offering after underwriters exercised the "greenshoe" option, the rocket, AI and internet company founded by Elon Musk said on Monday.
Chip stocks edge lower across the board in overnight trading. Intel dropped 1.7%, while TSMC and AMD both slipped 0.7%. ASML shed 0.5%, and Nvidia ticked down 0.4%.
Storage tech stocks slide across the board overnight. Micron Technology dropped 1.5%, while SanDisk and Western Digital shed 0.8% and 0.7%, respectively. Seagate Technology ticked down 0.4%.
General Motors shares rose more than 1% in overnight trading. According to the Wall Street Journal, GM is in talks with Lockheed to supply weapons components; GM would manufacture common parts that could help Lockheed ramp up ammunition production.
