Tesla Chair Says Board Not Looking for New CEO to Replace Musk

Reuters05-01

Tesla Chair Robyn Denholm on Thursday said the media report on board members reaching out to recruitment firms to look for a new CEO to replace Elon Musk was "absolutely false".

Denholm added that the board is highly confident in Musk's ability to continue "executing on the exciting growth plan ahead".

Shares of Tesla rose 1% in overnight trading, reversing an earlier loss of 4%.

Musk's innovative leadership and out of the box thinking is why I invested in TSLA in the first place. Without him I'll dump my shares in a heartbeat.
