Today, Hong Kong's three major indices opened collectively higher. Gold stocks saw a rebound, as Zijin Mining Group International jumped over 4%. Chinese brokerage firms were active, with China Merchants Securities climbing more than 1%. Chip stocks opened higher, with GigaDevice Semiconductor leading the pack with a gain of over 5%. Additionally, Dongpeng Beverages (9980.HK) began its first day of trading today at its issue price.
