据英国金融时报报道，软银愿景基金对滴滴的巨额投资，也是迄今为止对中国科技公司最大的单笔投资，目前巨亏40亿美元。
受监管影响，本月初上市的滴滴股价至今已经腰斩，跌幅达52%，市值从上市时最高675亿美元缩水至仅剩387.8亿美元，这与今年早些时候市场给出的最高1000亿美元的估值相去甚远。
而作为滴滴的大股东软银也蒙受了巨额亏损。软银愿景基金在2019年斥资118亿美元收购了滴滴20.1%的股份，目前所持股份价值仅剩78亿美元。要知道，2000年软银对阿里的第一笔投资仅为2000万美元。
软银一度希望借滴滴赴美上市之机减持所持股份，因为当时银行家和投资者曾预测，滴滴上市后估值可能升至1000亿美元。据英国金融时报援引一位知情人士透露，随着滴滴估值缩水，愿景基金搁置了减持股份的计划。
英国金融时报分析称，尽管愿景基金对滴滴的投资亏了40亿美元，但其在其他地区的许多科技行业的投资表现出色。并且如果监管问题得到解决后，滴滴的股价也可能收复失地。
