Trump Says U.S. 'Very Close' to Meeting Objectives in Iran -- WSJ

President Trump, in the same social media post where he said he was considering "winding down" operations in the Middle East, said the U.S. was "very close to meeting" its objectives in the conflict. He said those objectives were:

-- Degrading Iran's missile capabilities.

-- Eliminating Iran's navy, air force and anti-aircraft weapons.

-- Keeping Iran from getting close to nuclear capabilities.

-- Protecting Middle Eastern allies, such as Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Kuwait.
