Boustead Singapore's Attributable Profit Zooms 235% in Fiscal H2; Shares Down 12%

Boustead Singapore's (SGX:F9D) profit attributable to equity holders surged 235% during the fiscal second half ended March 31 to SG$197.7 million from SG$59.1 million a year earlier, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Shares of the engineering services company tumbled over 12% in Tuesday's late-morning trading.
Earnings per share came in at SG$0.3916 compared with SG$0.1202 in the year-ago period.
Revenue jumped 43% year over year to SG$330.4 million from SG$231.9 million.
The company declared a final ordinary dividend of SG$0.040 per share and a special dividend of SG$0.045 for the period. The dividend will be paid on Sept. 28.
