President Donald Trump on August 3 accused Iranian leadership of being duplicitous regarding negotiations, claiming they requested meetings yet publicly deny any discussions. In a post on X, Trump stated that Iran only admits to dealing with Oman, while the Strait of Hormuz is completely controlled by the U.S. Navy and its 'Blockade' or 'United States Wall of Steel.'
'Nothing gets through to Iran, unless we want it to, and nothing will get through, unless a Deal, or Total Surrender, is accomplished,' Trump wrote. He reiterated that Iran will never obtain a nuclear weapon, framing the situation as a problem Iran has caused for decades. The president's remarks come amid ongoing tensions over Iran's nuclear program and regional influence.
