President Donald Trump on August 3 announced his endorsement of Jon Maples, an America First Patriot running for Florida’s 87th State House District. In a post on X, Trump praised Maples as a successful businessman and civic leader who is "known and loved" and endorsed by many of his Palm Beach County friends, including State Representative "MAGA" Meg Weinberger.

Trump stated that Maples will "fight tirelessly to Grow the Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Stop Migrant Crime, Advance Election Integrity, Support our Military, Veterans, and Law Enforcement, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment." The president concluded with a strong endorsement, saying, "Jon Maples has my Complete and Total Endorsement — HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!"
