President Donald Trump on August 4 announced his endorsement of Megan Degenfelder in the race for Governor of Wyoming, praising the state's Superintendent of Public Instruction as a "fantastic" candidate who will champion conservative values.
In a post on X, Trump highlighted Degenfelder's background as a sixth-generation Wyomingite and her record as Superintendent, noting she has "dedicated her life to serving her Community." He listed her priorities including cutting taxes and regulations, advancing American energy dominance, securing the border, and protecting the Second Amendment.
"Megan Degenfelder has my Complete and Total Endorsement — She is a fantastic person, and will never let you down!" Trump wrote, adding that she is "strongly supported by many of our Greatest Warriors, including future Senator Harriet Hageman." Trump noted he won Wyoming in 2016, 2020, and 2024.
