Dohwa Engineering Reports Death at Yeosu Project Site

Dohwa Engineering (KRX:002150) reported a fatal accident at the marine survey area of its Yeosu project, according to a Wednesday filing with the Korea Exchange.
The accident involved a person who failed to resurface after performing diving work to inspect equipment installed offshore. The worker was found in cardiac arrest during a search and later died after being taken to a hospital.
The worker was not employed by Dohwa Engineering, but the incident happened at its business site.
The company said it is cooperating with authorities in their investigation and will establish preventative measures after determining the cause of the incident.
