HiteJinro (KRX:000080) will permanently end production operations at its Iksan plant in North Jeolla Province, South Korea, effective Oct. 16, according to a Wednesday filing with the Korea Exchange.
The South Korean beverage maker said the suspension is aimed at optimizing production operations due to aging facilities and operating conditions at the Iksan plant.
Production from the Iksan plant, which generated 42.1 billion won, representing 1.68% of its 2025 sales, will be transferred to its Jeonju plant.
