Avic Aviation High-Technology (SHA:600862) appointed Xiao Shihong chairman, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.
Xiao will take over from Wang Jian, who resigned due to changes in work arrangements.
The Chinese new aviation materials maker's shares rose nearly 3% during the afternoon trade.
