Trump: Supreme Court rulings set US back 100 years, cost trillions

Trump's Truth Social latest posts09-15

President Donald Trump on September 15 posted on X, criticizing multiple U.S. Supreme Court decisions, claiming they have set America back at least a hundred years and cost trillions of dollars. Trump specifically attacked rulings on mail-in voting, tariffs, and birthright citizenship, calling them "horrible, highly political" and a "complete and total disaster" for the country. He praised Justices Alito and Thomas for their strong dissents.

Trump accused the Supreme Court of taking "forever" to issue a decision on mail-in voting, which he called a "totally corrupt and out of control Mail-In voting 'disaster'" and a "laughing stock all over the World." On tariffs, he claimed the Court's ruling will "cost the U.S.A., for many years to come, Trillions and Trillions of Dollars" and failed to state that money paid does not have to be paid back. Regarding birthright citizenship, Trump said the decision has "already led to massive corruption with respect to 'citizenship' in our Country" and caused "irreparable and unrecoverable harm."

Trump stated that the Court is "bullied and cajoled by the Radical Left" and that its "inability and unwillingness to do the right thing" will go down negatively in history. He added, "The Supreme Court has really let our Country down!" He acknowledged that criticizing the Court may cost him dearly but said it was his obligation and duty as President to speak out for America.
