President Donald Trump on September 18 posted on social media platform X, publicly endorsing Rep. Rob Wittman for reelection in Virginia’s 1st Congressional District and praising his work. Trump stated that Wittman, as Vice Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, is tirelessly advancing the America First Agenda, demonstrating the wisdom and courage required to defend the country, support the military and veterans, and ensure peace through strength.
Trump highlighted Wittman’s efforts in Congress: growing the economy, cutting taxes and regulations, promoting Made in the U.S.A., advancing American energy dominance, keeping the border secure, stopping migrant crime, and protecting the Second Amendment. He gave Wittman his "Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election," adding: "HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!"
