On October 5, President Donald J. Trump posted on social media platform X to formally endorse Darline Graham, a candidate for the U.S. Senate in South Carolina, while attacking her opponent Annie Andrews.
In the post, Trump cited Senator Lindsey Graham's praise for Darline: "Darline is the finest, most reliable, and one of the smartest people I have ever known." He added that Lindsey would always say, "Also, the most loyal!" Trump noted that he was often upset with Lindsey for saying this because he thought he possessed all those qualities.
Trump described Darline as a "High Quality person, maybe the Highest," and claimed that Annie "Trannie" Andrews is not, particularly in representing the values of South Carolina. He listed what he said were Andrews' positions: "She is in favor of Transgender for Everyone, Open Borders, Defunding the Police, High Taxes, a Weak Military, and will absolutely fight to take your guns away." Trump added: "In other words, she is against our Great Second Amendment! Trannie is not for South Carolina, and South Carolina must show, in the upcoming Election, that it is not for her."
Concluding with a call to action, Trump wrote: "VOTE FOR DARLINE GRAHAM — SHE HAS MY COMPLETE AND TOTAL ENDORSEMENT, AND WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!"
