纽约证券交易所旗下NYSE American期权交易所正式启动延长交易时段，为投资者提供在常规市场开盘前及收盘后管理风险和捕捉机会的新渠道。
根据纽交所周一发布的声明，延长交易时段分为盘前和盘后两个区间：早盘时段为美东时间上午7:30至9:25，晚盘时段为下午4:00至4:15。
首批符合条件的标的证券包括跟踪标普500指数、罗素2000指数和黄金等资产的ETF期权，以及苹果、微软、英伟达、阿里巴巴、台积电、Alphabet、亚马逊、甲骨文等公司的相关期权。
纽交所首席产品官Kevin Tyrrell表示，推出期权延长交易时段是对市场需求的直接回应，旨在为投资者提供更长时间窗口内的投资机会与风险管理工具。
纽交所还计划于12月将类似安排扩展至股票市场。
此前媒体报道称，美国市场正朝着每周五天、每天接近24小时的股票交易模式推进，相关安排计划于12月开始实施，涉及包括纳斯达克和NYSE Arca在内的多个交易场所。
推动这一趋势的因素包括全球投资者对美股的持续需求，以及投资者希望在美国常规交易时段之外及时应对全球市场变化的需要。
