Plenty of positive news coming from $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ recently. It's good to see them being proactive with offsetting their spending. I'm looking forward to seeing what Q3 earnings season brings, coupled with the huge data center developments, I think positive guidance from Q3 and Q4 will pave the way to $1,000 a share.
$Amazon.com(AMZN)$ Amazon agrees to pay 2.5B to settle FTC lawsuit and the crowd goes mild, with a measly daily change of -0.94% folllowing the news, is it time to buy like there's no tomorrow? 12 month forecast says yes. With a current low annual forecast of $230 and high of $306, we're sitting at a good value price. With the absence of more bad news we may be looking at a bit of a run leading up to earnings in October, but we will have to wait and see. I'm looking forward to earnings and an update on guidance regarding AWS, but until then, I'm loading up.
$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ In an attempt to navigate this frothy market with reduced volatility and more value, my attention is currently drawn to META and AMZN. Meta has proven they belong in the trillion dollar club, with outstanding earnings and continuous investment in data centers and AI. However, it appears that the AI frenzy has overshadowed some larger market caps and momentum has stalled. At time of writing, META is currently up 29.89% YTD, which is a great return, however in this current climate, it's moderate at best. I predict momentum will grow leading up to earnings on 29/10, as investors will want to price in the growth META w
$GraniteShares 2x Long NVDA Daily ETF(NVDL)$ My stock pick for the week. Great to see some momentum in pre-market. Given NVDAs monthly stall I found this to be a good entry point, coupled with analysis ratings and forecasts for the next 12 months, I think we're in for a good return. However, I am proceeding cautiously as the market has priced in more rate cuts in 2026 than what has been currently announced or implied, and the market is looking a bit frothy in the 'AI' sector
I find it particularly curious that CEOs always find a way to be "fortunate" with their timing. I'd imagine you'd have a faily decent trading success rate with a team of experts. Examples - $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ As an observation, CEO and executives selling should be considered a sell signal ✍️
$Grab Holdings(GRAB)$ Grab has not been on my radar. However, there seems to be low expectations for earnings, which has been resulted in rallies in this current climate, when earnings are beat. Positive guidance expected from 2025 so the future is not so bleak. Short term the high risk could pay off, but I wouldn't bank on it. Medium term this is not worth buying in my opinion. Even long term looks uncertain, I would proceed cautiously.
