Seriously? This is the most sycophantic, fawning, partisan rubbish I've read in ages. Aside from the obvious deference it affords the cruel, divisiive, self-serving sociopath at the heart of this "news", it does nothing to dissuade Joe and Jill Average retail investor that their role is basically to provide insiders and their hangers-on (like, umm, "Dow Jones" who authored this rubbish) opportunities to be fleeced by sharemarket distortions. Like... ... as IF the article would helpfully point out that "most investors want to keep the Malevolent Tyrant around" actually means most of the SHAREHOLDERS want it around. Tesla's manufactured share price is a trainwreck-in-the-making that I have every belief will catestrophically collapse in the near te

This is all typical national parrotting straight from the neoclassical textbook, and/or blaming anybody but themselves for NZ's absolute basket case of an economy. If they hadn't destroyed 1000s of public sectors jobs in Wellington AND THE the ripple through effects that have rendered our capital city a ghost town, there would be much less need of talk about "job creation". As for cutting red tape, WHAT red tape?? NZ is the easiest place in the OECD to start a business, close it, register it, list it, bankrupt it... Whatever. 28 years resident in this NOT developed country and still waiting for somebody, anybody to challenge governments' ALWAYS simplified and nearly always patently wrong rubbish about how best to "fix" the economy. (Hint: about ANYTHING except EVERYTHING they've done

Why have 3 stocks' post-surge prices hardly changed in days?

‌Is it purely once-in-a-gazillion years coincidence that for as long as 4+ days the post-surge prices for three stocks from the same biopharmaceutical sector have hardly moved up or down? Specifically: 1. Intra-Cellular Therapies (ITCI): just over one day since suging from approx. $80, it very quickly landed in a minuscle $126.90 to $128 post-surge price bandwidth (between +58.6% and only +61.2%). 2. Sage Therapeutics (SAGE): similarly, just over one day since surging from approx. $5.50 to very quickly land in a minuscle $7.40 (+34.5%) to $7.70 (+40%) post-surge bandwidth. And in fact, more recently the bandwidth appears to be getting even narrower than (7.40-7.70). 3. Inari Medical Inc (INARI): for almost five days now, after surging from approx. $53 to approx. $65 and quckly landing in..

$SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$  DOA! I fail to see how a new auditor will turn around months of anti-stratospheric declines. The AUDITOR?!? The mob everybody is indirectly throwing  money at with absolute confidence they can unpack SMCI's labyrinthine accounts and steer them back to the path of righteousness? What no auditor before them could. Honestly, the amount of dumb money rolling around the xchanges disgusts me considering billions of people we share the planet with can barely earn enough to eat.

$Dave Inc(DAVE)$ Dave, done dirt cheap! With a diluted holding cost of MINUS US$67.95, my buy/sell timing the last few months was bang on the money and the money's now mine! Thank goodness, considering how many poorly timed, speculative, reckless, at best break-even trades Dave's tidy little earner has helpfully offset.

Well I was killing it until I momentarily lost sight and failed to realise China's bull was rapidly retreating. So on Monday 7 October foolishly established a position in TIGR at the ticker tippy top, which sadly went rapidly downhill from there as 8 and 9 October P&L screams loud and clear. "Grrr Tiger!" Fingers crossed the bull will be let loose again ASAP!

Because of over-involvement in my modest share portfolio (ie too much emotion /FOMO motivated buying and selling!), I rarely outperform NASDAQ even short-term... Except my "colossal" 6%+ week to 15 September, 😁
