Morgan analyst Samik Chatterjee's latest Wave7 Research poll, inadequate customer knowledge of Apple Intelligencea tool meant to improve the user experiencehelps to explain the slower sales trend.Notwithstanding better seasonal patterns, sales figures from October and November point to a weak Apple 16 portfolio. Comprising 19% of sales across carriers, the Pro Max model has been the top performer. With 16% and 17% shares respectively, the regular iPhone 16 and Pro models followed; the iPhone 16 Plus had modest adoption, contributing for only 7% of sales.The poll also shows that only 10% of respondents had a "high" knowledge of Apple Intelligence, while 67% of respondents reported a low awareness of the tool. Though it might be a catalyst for the new lineup, this lack of familiarity could be sapping upgrade excitement.
