$Alphabet(GOOG)$ Like any other “startup” (See Amazon and Netflix years ago) get your customers first, scale your business and the profits will follow. Just like Amazon and Netflix, Google has first mover advantage in driverless car service and there is no doubt in my mind they intend to build a very profitable business with Waymo down the road.
