I’ve been following some of these top 10 companies closely—especially the big three banks. I hold DBS for its strong digital push and solid dividends. OCBC and UOB are also strong performers, but DBS stands out to me for its regional leadership and consistent results.

I’m also watching Wilmar and Singtel. Wilmar's exposure to the food supply chain is a good inflation hedge. Singtel’s ongoing restructuring and regional investments could unlock more value, so it’s on my watchlist. I’ve been tempted to start a small position soon if the price dips.

Flex Ltd surprised me—I didn’t realize they had such a strong presence in Singapore. I also think Keppel Corp or ST Engineering could join the list in the near future, especially with their push into renewables and defense tech. Curious what others think and are holding from this list!

As one would say buy blue chips, banks is the top choice . Most of it have been bought and sold recently as the market is rising and touches new high . I would invest in Singtel and DBS and Ocbc . Others that shd make the list could be ifast , venture .

🌟🌟🌟DBS $DBS Group Holdings(D05.SI)$ has done it again!  It has reported a record profit of SGD 8.66 billion, outpacing OCBC and UOB with commanding strength.  DBS is not just the biggest bank in Southeast Asia by assets.  It is also the most profitable, most resilient and the most forward looking.

I am holding DBS long term as it isn't just a bank.  It is my solid compounder.   With its digital transformation, regional expansion and wealth management momentum, DBS is well positioned to thrive even amid global uncertainty.  DBS's strong capital buffers and history of special dividends make it a strategic anchor in my portfolio.

Go Long Go Strong Go DBS! 🥰🥰🥰🚀🚀🚀🌛🌛🌛🌈🌈🌈💰💰💰🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬

I have ocbc and CapitaLandInvest. I regret not buying dbs earlier during the covid time when it was $20. Subsequently always felt that it was too expensive to buy and it has continue to climb higher. My only consolation is that if the SG banks, at least I have ocbc. I have CapitaLandInvest as I believe that its robust real estate will bring in high returns along with good dividends. I’m familiar with the above 10 except flex which I have never heard before. Thank you for pointing this out for me to look into.

Any of the SG banks will offer good returns. I wouldn’t invest in the rest as there are threats facing these companies such as rising competition, legal threats for Wilmar, lack of convincing future growth or capturing market share for singtel.

I think CICT should make it to the list. Going to malls is the favourite pastime of Singaporeans and many of the malls of CICT are popular among locals. CICT has also delivered good earnings and dividends.

for me diversification is preferred. Not gonna put all in one stock as it's dangerous... prefer blue chip stocks like the. tip 10 mentioned and defensive stocks... [Sly] [Sly] [Sly]

Three most popular choices for Singapore investors seeking stable, income-generating stocks with good dividend yields and capital appreciation are the three Singaporean banks listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) namely, DBS, UOB, and OCBC. They are significant components of the Straits Times Index. Here's a breakdown:
DBS Group Holdings Ltd: (SGX: D05)
United Overseas Bank Ltd: (SGX: U11)

  • Nice! I have some DBS and OCBC. As for the rest , Singtel, Capitalland investment and SIA, they make up most of the investment in SG market.
Hope in few years time, Sembcorp will be able to squeeze into top 10💰💰💰
