The National Day parade has become a highlight for my family. Alas, we have never been successful in getting the tickets. So, we have been watching it together on television as a family for years. Although the parade has moved closer to Singaporeans in the various neighbourhood for now, our routine has a family has been still stuck to watching it on television [LOL].
Fireworks are a bonus that we would watch together but to avoid the crowd, we would watch it in the city area during the previews instead of the actual day.
During National Day, im filled with pride by the progress of our nation in a short few decades. Our progress has won the admiration of many. So, of course im proud to be Singaporean.
