Silver's sharp pullback after making new highs doesn't surprise me. When an asset rallies aggressively and breaks psychological levels like $80, profit-taking is almost inevitable. A 5% correction after such a vertical move feels more like a reset of positioning than a breakdown of the trend. For me, this kind of volatility is part of a mature bull market, not a signal that the story is suddenly over.

On whether I would take profits, my answer is selective rather than all-or-nothing. I'm comfortable trimming positions that have run far ahead of my original allocation or where leverage is involved, but I wouldn't rush to fully exit core holdings. Precious metals, especially silver, tend to overshoot in both directions, and selling everything into the first sharp pullback often means missing the next leg higher.

My view on the super bull run is that its foundation still looks intact. The structural supply–demand imbalance hasn't disappeared overnight, and silver's dual role as both a precious metal and an industrial input gives it stronger long-term support than gold alone. As long as monetary uncertainty, fiscal pressure, and real asset demand remain in play, I see the broader uptrend as unfinished.

That said, I also don't expect a straight-line move. The higher silver goes, the more violent the swings will become, and drawdowns of 10–15% wouldn't change my medium-term thesis. This is no longer an early-stage bull market, so risk management and position sizing matter more than chasing headlines or exact price targets.

As for whether silver can reach $100 in 2026, I see it as possible but not guaranteed. It likely requires another wave of capital inflows and sustained tightness on the supply side. I'm not anchoring my decisions to a specific number, but if the macro and industrial demand trends continue to align, I wouldn't be surprised to see silver challenge that level over the next cycle.

As a retail investor, I focus mainly on the US and Singapore markets, combining a mix of technical trading and long-term investing strategies. I enjoy analyzing charts, spotting patterns, and making calculated moves based on both market sentiment and fundamentals. While I'm not a professional, I treat my portfolio seriously and continue to learn and grow with each trade.
