Top Movers Lenovo, SMIC & SATS Boost Gains on 5x Long DLCs

Among DLC-covered underlyings, $SMIC(00981)$ and $LENOVO GROUP(00992)$ led gains in Hong Kong’s morning session on Tuesday (26 May), while $SATS(S58.SI)$ took the spotlight in the Singapore market.

SMIC surged as much as 16.5% in early trading before trimming gains later in the session to close up 8.52%, as semiconductor counters rallied following renewed optimism around China’s chip sector after Huawei unveiled a new semiconductor theory aimed at advancing chip performance.

Amplifying the move, the SMIC 5x Long DLC closed the morning session up more than 42%, while the SMIC 5x Short DLC declined about 76% following an airbag trigger event.

Lenovo also climbed 17.84% to a fresh record high amid positive sentiment surrounding its AI agent business. Tracking the underlying stock, the Lenovo 5x Long DLC gained approximately 89%.

In Singapore, SATS rose up to 6.8% following its earnings beat, lifting the SATS 5x Long DLC by as much as 34%. There are currently no Lenovo and SATS Short DLCs available for trading.

With semiconductor and AI-related names remaining in focus, investors may consider using Long and Short DLCs to gain up to 7x leveraged and inverse exposure to Hong Kong, Singapore, and US single stocks and indices.
