$Microsoft(MSFT)$ $Roundhill Magnificent Seven ETF(MAGS)$  $NVIDIA(NVDA)$  📉🌎⚡ $SPX Suffers An $824B Hit As AI Capital Begins To Rotate ⚡🌎📉

The market finally delivered a meaningful warning shot.

The S&P 500 has lost more than $824B in market capitalisation today and now sits nearly -4% below the all-time highs reached on 02Jun26.

What catches my attention is not the decline itself, but the changing behaviour beneath the surface.

$MSFT has broken below the psychologically important $400 level for the first time since 15Apr26.

Key observations:

• More than $21M in short-dated single-leg puts were purchased on $MSFT today

• Shares are now down over -15% YTD

• This is only the fifth time in the last 20 years that $MSFT has been performing this poorly at this stage of the calendar year

The options market is sending an equally important signal.

Across the Magnificent Seven:

• Puts are outpacing calls on every constituent

• More than $125M of calls have been sold

• More than $87M of puts have been purchased

This does not automatically signal a market collapse.

It does suggest that institutional investors are becoming increasingly selective about where they want exposure.

At the same time, Morgan Stanley is reportedly increasing conviction in:

🤖 Semiconductors

⛏️ Metals & Mining

🏦 Banks

I believe this is potentially the most important takeaway from today’s session.

The AI investment story appears to be broadening.

The first phase rewarded companies designing chips, building models and capturing software demand.

The next phase may increasingly reward the infrastructure supporting that ecosystem.

Every AI data centre requires financing.

Every AI server requires critical minerals.

Every AI deployment requires energy, networking and industrial capacity.

When major technological revolutions mature, capital often migrates from the innovators toward the businesses enabling large-scale adoption.

That does not mean the AI trade is ending.

It may simply mean the market is searching for the next layer of beneficiaries.

The question investors should be asking is no longer whether AI will grow.

The question is who gets paid next.

👉 If the next AI winner isn’t a Mag 7 company, which sector stands to benefit most over the next 12 months?
