Crude oil is already near where it was before the conflict.
Nobody was sure how long that would last back then. I suspect the price shock could have sparked momentum for increased production, just from the industry reacting to the higher prices. That means we could have a glut coming, taking us below the previous lows of $55 per barrel.
If that's true, it means inflation could drop significantly.
