Alibaba brass, Jack Ma up stakes for firm?

According to sources close to the matter, as Alibaba launched a placement financing round, founder Jack Ma has been increasing his holdings in Alibaba's Hong Kong-listed shares for several consecutive days, with the total amount exceeding HK$600 million, signaling his strong confidence in Alibaba's AI prospects.

In addition, after Joseph Tsai purchased approximately HK$80 million worth of Alibaba shares yesterday, on August 25, according to information from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Alibaba Group Chairman Joseph Tsai again increased his stake by about HK$82 million. Following the placement news, Tsai has bought Alibaba shares for two consecutive days, and his current holdings amount to approximately HK$160 million.

Are Jack Ma and Joseph Tsai's successive share purchases a genuine vote of confidence in their own company, or are they compelled to buy shares out of necessity to reassure investors and encourage them to support the stock price? What do you think?$阿里巴巴(BABA)$$阿里巴巴-W(09988)$
