      The problem usually isn’t the strategy. It’s the lack of a proper framework to test and understand it. A trading plan should include your setup criteria, entry rules, risk management, exit strategy, and the market conditions where the strategy works best.

    One lesson I took from Owen Moshey’s mentorship is that consistency comes from mastering a process, not constantly searching for the next perfect system. Every strategy will have losing periods. The difference between experienced traders and beginners is that experienced traders understand their edge and know how to manage through different market conditions.

    I think the biggest mistake most beginners make is trying to collect too much information before understanding the basics. More indicators, more strategies, and more opinions usually create more confusion.
