$GLOBALFOUNDRIES Inc.(GFS)$ $Marvell Technology(MRVL)$ GlobalFoundries and Marvell Technology announced an expanded multi-year agreement to increase capacity for GF's silicon germanium technology at its Burlington, Vermont facility, aimed at supporting growing demand for next-generation optical connectivity. The expanded collaboration will add capacity for SiGe technology used in next-generation pluggable optical transceivers, near-packaged optics, and co-packaged optics. The agreement builds on existing production and is expected to add significant capacity to support Marvell's growing requirements.
