Nike is approaching an important test with Q1 FY2027 earnings on October 1.
The iconic sportswear giant is going through one of its most difficult resets in years. FY2026 showed some encouraging signs, but the recovery remains uneven.

Nike reports Q1 FY2027 results after market close.
Current expectations are around $11.3B revenue and $0.44 EPS.
For me, the headline EPS number isn't the only thing that matters. I'll be watching:

πΉ FY2027 management outlook
2026 looks like the RESET year.
The bigger question is whether 2027 becomes the RECOVERY year β or whether meaningful growth gets pushed further into FY2028.
Nike still has one of the strongest global brands in sports, but investors now need evidence that brand strength can translate back into sustainable revenue and earnings growth.
The October 1 results could therefore be an important checkpoint for the Nike turnaround story.
