SpaceX Reports First. This Week Could Tell Us Which AI Trade Actually Deserves Its Valuation.

After the recent tech selloff, this earnings week arrives at exactly the right moment.

SpaceX reports Tuesday, followed by Meta and Tesla.

The market already knows these companies can spend enormous amounts of money.

Now it wants evidence that those billions are producing returns.

My ranking going into earnings:

🥇 META: strongest proof of AI monetisation

🥈 SpaceX: highest upside surprise potential

🥉 TSLA: highest execution risk

🔵 SPACEX: THE FIRST TEST

At roughly $145, SpaceX goes first.

Consensus is around $12.96B revenue and $0.139 EPS, but those headline numbers are not what I would trade.

I am watching:

Starlink growth → launch economics → margins → AI infrastructure opportunity.

The bull case becomes much stronger if Starlink growth remains powerful while operating leverage improves.

🚦 My levels

🟡 $138-$145: First Pick

🟢 $125-$135: Preferred Pick

🟢 $115-$125: Strong Pick

🟢 Above $155: Earnings confirmation

🟢 $165-$175: First bull target

🔴 Below $115: Thesis check

My post-earnings base case: $138-$158.

A genuine beat plus stronger forward commentary could send it toward $165+ surprisingly quickly.

🟢 META: MY HIGHEST-CONVICTION SETUP

Meta around $704 has something many AI companies still lack:

A gigantic existing cash machine capable of monetising AI immediately.

AI can improve ad recommendations, engagement and conversion before Meta ever sells an AI product directly.

That makes its capex easier for me to justify.

🚦 My levels

🟡 $680-$700: First Pick

🟢 $640-$670: Preferred Pick

🟢 $600-$630: Strong Pick

🟢 Above $730: Bullish confirmation

🟢 $760-$780: First target

🟢 $800+: Strong earnings rerating

🔴 Below $600: Thesis check

My post-earnings base case: $680-$750.

If ad growth, margins and AI commentary all strengthen simultaneously, $760-$780 becomes realistic.

Of the three, META is the one I would most willingly buy on an earnings-related dip.

🟡 TESLA: THE MOST DIFFICULT ONE

Tesla around $353 is different.

The valuation increasingly depends on future businesses: autonomy, Robotaxi, Optimus and AI.

That means ordinary automotive earnings may not be enough.

I want evidence that those future businesses are moving from narrative toward economics.

🚦 My levels

🟡 $335-$350: First Pick

🟢 $305-$325: Preferred Pick

🟢 $280-$300: Strong Pick

🟢 Above $375: First confirmation

🟢 Above $400: Bullish breakout

🔴 Below $280: Thesis check

My post-earnings base case: $325-$380.

Tesla could easily produce the largest percentage move of the three, but it also has the widest outcome distribution.

🔵 MY PREDICTION

I think this week produces greater differentiation inside the AI trade, not one uniform rally.

My ranking for risk-adjusted opportunity:

1. META

2. SpaceX

3. TSLA

But for pure upside surprise potential:

1. SpaceX

2. TSLA

3. META

The number I will watch most closely is not EPS.

It is return on AI spending.

If Meta proves AI is already lifting advertising economics, SpaceX demonstrates improving infrastructure economics, and Tesla shows measurable autonomy progress, the AI trade could regain momentum.

If capex keeps climbing while returns remain vague, last week's selloff may have been a warning rather than an opportunity.

The next phase of AI investing will not reward whoever spends the most.

It will reward whoever proves that $1 spent on AI can reliably become more than $1 of economic value.

That is the earnings test I care about.

I am not a financial advisor. Trade wisely, Comrades!

My pick: META for quality, SpaceX for upside. Which one proves its AI returns first?
