$Apple(AAPL)$ Gene Munster is pointing to remarkably long lines at Apple stores on the iPhone Duo's launch day, even with the high price tag. He sees that as support for his 20 million unit FY27 estimate, which would be around 7% of total iPhone units and well above the Street's roughly 12 million expectation. The extra 8 million units, driven by customers moving from phones with an ASP around $1,200 to the Duo at around $2,200, would add roughly $8 billion to iPhone revenue and push FY27 iPhone growth to 13%, compared with the Street's 10%. Munster argues that even as a small part of the lineup, the Duo is a meaningful new lever that could lift overall iPhone revenue growth by 3% in FY27 and 5% in FY28.
