INTC Technical Signal Alert — 31 October 2026

Confirmed high-volume breakdown

High significance

Intel's Friday session confirmed that the post-earnings sell-off was not confined to after-hours trading. The stock fell sharply on exceptionally high volume and closed near its session low. This is consistent with forced selling or broad institutional repositioning, but it does not prove that a durable price floor has formed.

What matters now

1. Extreme volume confirms capitulation-like selling, not accumulation.

Friday's volume was approximately 455 million shares versus 134 million on Thursday. The stock's decline and close near its low indicate that sellers retained control into the close.

The next meaningful signal would be a recovery from the lows on strong buying volume, followed by a successful support retest. Until then, interpreting the volume spike as institutional accumulation would be premature.

2. Momentum is deeply oversold, but no reversal is confirmed.

One technical-data provider reported a 14-period RSI around 14, with bearish MACD and moving-average readings. Another provider's RSI estimate was closer to 20. The exact values differ by data source, but both indicate extreme downside momentum.

An oversold reading can precede a sharp rebound, but it can also persist during a powerful downtrend.

Levels to monitor

These are reference levels derived from recent trading, not guaranteed support.

The key development is confirmation of an exceptionally high-volume bearish breakdown. There is evidence of extreme selling pressure and oversold momentum, but no verified evidence yet of a durable floor or institutional accumulation.

The next session should be judged by whether INTC holds above $63.20, recovers the $70–75 area, and shows a constructive volume pattern.

65 area looks more like a valuation reset than a floor call. Long term this discount matters more than one ugly flush
