The AI Trade Isn’t Dead: Overlooked Demand in AMD, Qualcomm, Palantir and Intel—Plus Anthropic’s IPO
Hello everyone! Today i want to share some trading ideas with you!
1
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ is getting sold on fears of a data center slowdown even as its data center revenue nearly doubled to $8.5B and CEO Lisa Su laid out more than 80% company growth for 2027.
What I think gets overlooked is that AMD sells compute wherever the racks get built and AI agents create enormous CPU demand around orchestration, databases and tool use alongside GPUs which is why management now expects server CPU revenue to double next year.
2
$Qualcomm(QCOM)$ says its custom AI accelerators started shipping in October with $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ AWS connectivity ramps this month and Dragonfly remains on track for $Meta Platforms(META)$ in 2028.
This is Qualcomm moving beyond smartphone chips into hyperscaler revenue with a target of $15B+ in data center sales by FY29.
3
$Palantir(PLTR)$ real value is connecting the massive amounts of data that companies and governments have sitting in systems that were never designed to talk to each other.
Its Ontology brings everything together across Foundry and Gotham while AIP lets AI agents understand and act on that information like connecting an airline’s aircraft, maintenance records, spare parts and crew schedules into one picture.
That doesn’t need a single new data center in Texas.
4
Anthropic planning its IPO right as everyone decides AI is dead again is either terrible timing or best possible setup and I genuinely can’t tell which.
5
$Intel(INTC)$ CEO Lip-Bu Tan bought another $10M of stock at $65 just days after Intel’s worst trading day since 1974 which adds to $10M he already purchased at $95 in August.
He’s averaging down into the selloff while Intel’s data center and foundry businesses are growing 78% and 58% even as rising memory costs weigh on PC demand.

What excites me most is its AI potential. Rather than seeing AI purely as a threat, I believe Google has the technology, resources and global reach to turn it into a growth opportunity. Google Cloud also offers another promising engine for expansion.
While competition and regulatory risks remain, I prefer to focus on long-term fundamentals rather than short-term price movements. For me, Google remains a conviction investment built around innovation, resilience and future growth.
