The interesting story here isn’t simply two new IPOs — it’s where the next wave of AI investment could be heading. 🚀
Guoxing Aerospace represents an ambitious opportunity in the emerging space-computing ecosystem, where satellites, orbital infrastructure and future data-processing capabilities could become strategically important. Yiwei Technology, meanwhile, targets the robotics intelligence layer — the chips and systems that give machines the ability to perceive, process and act.
But investors need to distinguish between an exciting industry and an attractive valuation.
Space AI has enormous long-term potential, but commercialisation, capital requirements and execution risks remain significant. Robotics has a potentially broader near-term application, but competition, margins and customer adoption will ultimately determine the winners.
My investment perspective? Don’t confuse IPO excitement with investment quality. A heavily subscribed offering doesn’t automatically make a stock undervalued, just as a weak US technology market doesn’t automatically make Hong Kong IPOs a safe haven.
The bigger opportunity is identifying which companies own genuinely valuable technology, possess defensible competitive advantages and can convert innovation into sustainable cash flow.
I’d watch both closely, but I’d rather buy an exceptional business at a sensible valuation than chase a spectacular opening-day performance.
In the next decade, AI won’t just live in data centres. It could operate in space, on factory floors and inside autonomous machines. The real winners will be the companies that turn that vision into profits. 🎯
