$NEWCREST MINING LIMITED(NCM.AU)$  

Haven't posted for a while but gold has been a very good investment in last 6 months.


Newcrest is one of the safer bets in the industry long life mines, low costs and safe jurisdictions.


Current tailwinds have been the gold price and takeover by $Newmont Mining(NEM)$  . The previous takeover bid was picked around $28 aud per share. But appears to be below current share price.

POG probably expected rise further with dedollarisation theme. China and Russia does not feel safe with USDs and probably many more countries including India currently neutral.
