Bullish Scenario
- Cup & Handle plays out fully
- Handle formed with bounce off 35+
- Needs to break 40 to play out bullish price action
Bearish Scenario
- Double top play out with neckline break of 35 (note that double tops are only double tops if the price action break below neckline)
- Bearish target is 30
- Good support at 28
Upcoming key catalysts
- 9 Dec PPI
- 13 Dec CPI
- 14 Dec FOMC
Upcoming price action
Likely to be choppy and not any major moves until the above key dates, with 13 Dec CPI the most anticipated data to be released to date as it will again influence how Powell speaks on 14 Dec.
Xmas rally?
That's when we will know whether we will have the X'mas rally!
