Nvidia and Corning reach long-term cooperation to drive AI infrastructure construction and demand for optical connectivity in the United States
Nvidia and Corning have announced a long-term partnership that will enhance U.S. AI infrastructure manufacturing capabilities. Corning plans to build three new factories in the United States, increase the optical connection capacity by 10 times, increase the fiber output by more than 50%, create more than 3,000 high-paying jobs, and promote the localization of the AI hardware ecosystem in the United States. The two parties also signed a US$500 million equity financing agreement, and Nvidia obtained a US$500 million warrant from Corning to cooperate to promote the development of AI infrastructure. Corning raised its long-term sales target to support the construction of artificial intelligence data centers. The strategic alliance between NVIDIA and Corning will drive the demand for optical connection products in AI data centers to grow substantially and drive the development of the optical industry chain.
