Why AppLovin’s 20% Collapse Questions Whether AI Advertising Can Grow Smoothly

$AppLovin Corporation(APP)$’s second-quarter figures were impressive in isolation: revenue increased more than 50%, net income exceeded $1.2 billion and free cash flow remained exceptionally strong. The stock nevertheless lost almost one-fifth of its value because both completed revenue and the next-quarter forecast fell slightly short of expectations. AppLovin reported after the August 5 market close for the quarter ended June 30. Revenue increased 53% year over year to $1.924 billion, net income rose 55% to $1.267 billion and adjusted EBITDA advanced 58% to $1.614 billion. Free cash flow reached $863 million, while diluted earnings were $3.76 per share. AppLovin’s official second-quarter release provides the reported figures. The bullish thesis i

Dr. Copper quietly made New All Time High

"This is not the end... it is not the beginning of the end. It is perhaps the end of the beginning..." (Winston Churchill, 10 Nov 1942 While everyone was debating and watching AI and some SpaceX, copper has in the middle of this week hits its ATH (All Time High)! Not a significant event for the retailers. It is one of the many commodities after all. In recent years, some members of this group have another name, known as “critical metals”. In another couple of years, perhaps they could be called “gemstones” for all I know. People who have read my articles would know that I am fan of many of these “gems”, such as copper, silver, gold or platinum. Besides the reasons for the surge, I will shared some copper miners here for interest. Bear with me, I will use more pictures than words for this s

TOPjinglese: I bought the copper move early, and yeah the tariff arb is the real fuel here. Silver probably follows, but copper still leads imo

SPCX did not crash on Thu, 6 Aug 2026, despite an unlock of roughly 911.5 million insider shares worth over $100 billion. Its becos market had already priced in the anticipated selling pressure, the release was only a partial 20% staggered tranche, and aggressive dip-buying along with short-covering easily absorbed the new supply.  In fact, the stock rose over 6% during the session.

Now that $SpaceX(SPCX)$ Q2 2026 earnings are out, let’s take a look and see whether the post I had shared yesterday holds true. Click here ! for yesterday’s post. In its first earnings report since going public on 12 Jun 2026, SPCX revenue nearly doubled, fueled by its booming Starlink satellite communications and AI businesses, but executives flagged the spending spree underpinning its lofty ambitions ‌is far from over. The company led by Elon Musk said: It expected a $100 billion revenue run-rate by December 2026, Promised a less than one-year payback on new capital deployments for AI compute, and Forecast it would launch at least 1,000 next-generation V3 Starlink satellite

AI Stocks: Buy the Dip or Run for the Exit?

The AI Rally Is Being Repriced The recent sell-off in technology stocks has definitely made investors nervous. When names like Micron, $SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$  andfall more than 40%–50% from their recent highs, it is easy to ask: Is the AI boom finally coming to an end? Personally, I don't think so. I see this more as a major reset in expectations, valuations and positioning after an exceptionally strong AI rally. The key question is no longer simply whether AI will grow, but which companies can turn massive AI spending into sustainable revenue, earnings and free cash flow. From"Buy AI" to "Prove It” The market has changed significantly. Earlier in the AI rally, almost anything related to semiconductors, data centers or AI infrastructure c

I don't think the recent tech sell-off means the AI bubble is bursting. To me, this is more of a reset in valuation and expectations after a massive rally. I remain bullish on the long-term AI trend, but I'm becoming more selective: $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ remain attractive due to their strong competitive positions, while $Micron Technology(MU)$ offers long-term HBM and memory exposure but comes with higher cyclicality. I prefer to buy gradually rather than trying to call the exact bottom, and I'm especially cautious with leveraged ETFs because

I lean toward B — the Hormuz talks could stall over the blockade issue. Markets initially priced in the reopening headline, but Iran’s tougher conditions make a full resolution uncertain. If talks fail, oil could rebound quickly, so I expect continued volatility rather than a straight-line decline. For me, this is also a Fed and rates story. Softer jobs data and lower oil could strengthen Fed-cut expectations, supporting GLD and TLT while pressuring the dollar. I’m watching USO/XLE alongside GLD/TLT to see whether markets are pricing genuine disinflation or just another temporary geopolitical swing. I would avoid chasing the headline and wait for confirmation. If workable terms are reached and oil stays lower, the easing-inflation narrative becomes stronger. Until then, the actual agreeme

GS Sees Something in MSFT, We’re Missing?

Artificial intelligence (AI) evolution has entered a new phase. For the past 2 years, investors rewarded companies supplying the picks and shovels of the AI revolution, from semiconductor makers to networking equipment suppliers. This would include familiar names like - $NVIDIA(NVDA)$, $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$, $Cisco(CSCO)$ etc… While that aspect of spending spree is not ending anytime soon, focus has begun to shift.  The Shift. MSFT’s recent fiscal Q4 results, suggest the more important question is evolving and that is “can companies convert AI infrastructure spending into recurring, measurable enterprise revenue”? It’s true that businesses

Hormuz Deal Reached, Yet Oil Just Jumped 4%: Did Markets Price Peace Too Early?

Hi Tigers 🐯, Oil is sending two different signals in the same week. First it fell for three straight sessions as headlines announced an Iran-Oman framework to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Then, within 24 hours, it reversed and jumped over 4% on reports that Iran's actual terms are far stricter than markets assumed. That raises an obvious question: If a deal has been reached, why is oil still this volatile? The answer is that markets rallied on the headline, not the fine print — and the fine print just arrived.🐯🪙 Read to the end and join the discussion — thoughtful market insights may receive Tiger Coins! 1.What Actually Happened This Week The transmission mechanism traders were betting on looked like this: Strait of Hormuz reopens → oil supply risk falls → energy costs fall → inflation pre

📉 Tech Stocks: Buy the Dip or Run for the Exit? The recent tech selloff has definitely shaken investor confidence. With KOSPI plunging 43.9%, ChiNext falling 27.9% and the Nasdaq dropping 10.2%, the question is no longer simply whether AI is the future. The real question is: How much of that future has already been priced into today’s stock valuations? 🤔 Some of the biggest AI-related names have been hit especially hard. Micron fell 41.2%, SanDisk 57.6% and SpaceX 52.6% according to the campaign figures. That kind of drawdown makes it tempting to either panic-sell or aggressively buy the dip. Personally, I think neither extreme is the right approach. I see this more as an AI valuation reset than the end of the AI cycle. 🤖 AI demand is still real — but expectations have changed One of the b
