@TigerEvents:
As Q4 unfolds, three Gray Rhinos loom over the markets: AI, a potential debt spiral and inflation cost pass-through. Regionally, China/HK has not delivered the diversification benefits investors hoped for, Singapore banks have seen a recent selldown, and REITs had already reacted to interest rate headwinds before the Fed’s hike. # Who Pays for a Chip Rally? SPY finished October close to where it began. If I had stopped at that chart, I might have gone into Monday night looking for signs that an uneventful month was finally waking up. Put QQQ and the semiconductor fund SMH beside it and I get a different picture: plenty had already happened, just out of sight of the headline index. Tonight I’m watching how those three behave together. These are observations I want to make, not orders or fills. The chip chart gives me something concrete to watch. SMH came back to its average price over the past two hundred sessions, near another measure that weights this year’s trading by volume. I can see why that patch might attract buyers. I can also see how easy it would be to count two lines meeting as two votes in favour of a

[Earnings Recap] iPhone Sales Surge, but Apple Falls. Why?

Monday’s earnings exposed two different kinds of forward risk. Apple beat quarterly estimates but warned that memory costs would squeeze holiday margins. Palantir nearly doubled revenue and issued a strong forecast, yet slowing commercial contract growth gave investors a reason to question the stock’s valuation. Marriott was the clear winner, rallying 4.3% as travel demand and guidance exceeded expectations. Estée Lauder delivered a clean beat and raised its outlook, but an early gain reversed into a 4.1% closing loss. $Palantir(PLTR)$ down nearly 3% in late after-hours trading. Palantir sells data-management and artificial-intelligence software to businesses and government agencies. Third-quarter revenue jumped 96% to $2.31 billion, beating the r

From the latest regular-session price of $60.72 on 2026-11-03 , that leaves $3.28, or 5.40% , to $64; the full move to $65 would be $4.28, or 7.05% . For the 2026-11-06 weekly expiry : $64 is the largest call-GEX wall and has 9,278 call contracts open— 35.76% of total call OI for that expiry. $65 has the most call open interest at 11,759 contracts — 45.32% of total call OI—but its gamma exposure is somewhat below the $64 strike. The signal is “overbought near a breakout,” rather than a confirmed exhaustion reversal. Momentum is hot: RSI(6) was 79.25 on 2026-11-02; RSI(12) was 75.73 and RSI(24) 70.00 . Apple Delivers a Strong Holiday Forecast, But Wall Street Wants More Than an iPhone Story

Apple’s first earnings report under its new CEO delivered a mixed picture. The company provided a better-than-expected revenue outlook for the upcoming holiday quarter, supported by resilient iPhone demand. However, weaker results in Greater China and the iPad business raised questions about the strength and breadth of its overall growth. The market reaction was particularly interesting. Apple expects revenue for its fiscal first quarter, ending in December, to increase by 7%–10%, comfortably ahead of the 6.1% growth analysts had forecast. Ordinarily, guidance above expectations would be viewed positively. Instead, Apple shares fell approximately 4% after hours. This suggests the issue may not be whether Apple is growing, but whether it is growing fast enough to justify the expectations al

Palantir’s Revenue Nearly Doubles: Is This Just the Beginning of Its AI Growth Story?

$Palantir(PLTR)$ Q3 Earnings Mark a Major Turning Point: AI Commercial Demand Is Changing the Business Palantir Technologies has delivered another exceptional quarterly performance, reinforcing its position as one of the major beneficiaries of the AI adoption cycle. But there is something particularly important about this latest report that deserves more attention than simply looking at the headline revenue growth. For the first time in the company’s history, US commercial revenue has surpassed US government revenue. This is significant because Palantir was traditionally known for providing data analytics and software solutions to government agencies, intelligence organisations and the military. Its commercial business is now becoming an incr
